It seems his team has to play in a certain way.
He's like a luxury player, when the team tries to play fast pace, smooth attacking game, he thrives. Even when he was in Hoffenheim, the team's management was horrible, they liked to go all out attack and was crushed most of the time but he (and Firmino) always showed brilliant moments.

I don't think current JNT's style direction suits him at all.

For example, in the last two games, almost only Nakajima was good. Does it mean all the like of Inui, Kagawa, Kamada, Usami, Minamino... decide to turn to sh!t at the same time by themself? I don't think so.

I wish Moriyasu would give more chances to Ueda. He is not performing really badly in Belgium now, I think he at least deserves some chances in place of maybe Miura.

I agree, no more Miura at all.
Like Yamaguchi or Makino, a J. League player that shouldn't even be close to JNT.

Do you think -seriously- he will receive a call-up giving the three following obstacles:

    1- His age.
2- He was not ever a part of the JFA system.
3- He is playing for Oita Trinita, as small (not prestigious) clubs are less likely to get their players picked up. If he is playing for the likes of Kashima, Urawa, Gamba, Kawasaki, and -of course- FC Tokyo, I am sure he will be in the next roster.

Let’s hope Oita Trinita will be the Japanese Leicester.

I don't see any problem with his age

Why when a young promising player is in a good form, people can eager to say "if he's good enough, he's old enough" and demand a position in national team; but can't we say the same for players around 30?

Like I repeated myself many times, senior team are for best players, not best young players.
Senior team is not U23 team.

I'd like to see Fujimoto being called up only due to satisfaction. Since his arrival in Kagoshima, he always delivered and scored.

Plus, I think he'd be the first player to have featured in JNT starting from J3.

Genta Miura is a clown, he must be banned from representing Japan NT:

To those who might come and defend him: Miura is making fatal mistakes in every single game for Gamba Osaka, and the only thing he is good at is winning coin tosses.

Miura is in the same range of the likes of Makino, Morishige, Yamaguchi. All solid J. League players, which though shouldn't come near a JNT shirt ever.

Miura is not even solid by J-League standards.

He's far from being a solid defender in J.League. Makino and Morishige are monsters compared to him.

Japan U-20 trio Takefusa Kubo, Kosuke Osako, and Hiroki Abe set to miss the upcoming U-20 World Cup to be able to participate in Copa America:

    https://www.nikkansports.com/m/soccer/japan/news/amp/201905060000067.html

They will not be considered by the U-20 coaching staff, as they cannot play both tournaments due to club commitments (so either U-20 WC or Copa America).

Ooohhh......hmm.........I wish Kubo played U20 World Cup instead. I fear JNT call-up now is a bit too soon.

What the hell these clowns at the JFA are thinking I have no idea......he's like 10 games into being a regular at FC Tokyo....

Stopping him from going to the U20 FWC? for a tournament that to Japan is essentially a friendly tournament?

I wonder if this is Moriyasu's doing.

The main point is that he's (actually) simply useless for JNT.
He will be bullied everytime if he will ever play a match.
Maybe Takefusa want a free vacation to Brazil.
