thank you for the information that's amazing. but i guess she will need time to be fully fit again. but when she is back, i'm sure she will strengthen an already super strong Beleza team. and i dont think the other teams would like that
That is good news! I have lost track. How many friendlies are scheduled for Nadeshiko Japan this year? Aren't there a couple scheduled in the next month or two?
Today's result: Albi (Sakaguchi, Takahashi) 2-1 Inac (Ohno) Nadeshiko League 2 Belle (Hazuki) 1-1 Ehime (Kariya) Challenge League West Anclas 0-3 Bunnnys (Matsuda, OG, Sawada)
Well, Albi had absolut need of this result, not to be sucked into the relegation brawl. But now INAC kinda open road to Beleza for their next title... Belle finally makes a point, after the win vs Kibi in first week, but it looks like the sentence is that Ehime is not up to the task of fighting for promotion this year neither. It will probably be between Nittaidai, Cerezo and Orca. Go Bunnys (also, Anclas was a 1 Division team, once: they look for falling down from Challenge League also? ).
Tomorrow's games: Mynabi vs Nojima 13:00 Jef vs Nagano 13:00 Iga vs Chifure 13:00 Urawa vs Beleza 14:00 Nadeshiko League 2 Nipptsu vs Harima 13:00 Konomiya vs Cerezo 13:00 Kibi vs Nittaidai 13:00 Orca vs Setagaya 14:00 Challenge League East Jumonji vs NORD 11:00 Niigata vs Yamato 11:00 Tsukuba vs Tokiwagi 11:30 Challenge League West JFA vs Ange Violet 11:00 Shizuoka vs Nagoya 13:00
4 matches played so far and 0 goals for Masuya. This is somehow worrying. I have watched all the matches of INAC this season and she was not bad at all but as a striker she has to score goals. Yokoyama, Tanaka and Momiki have proved that they are capable to do that. But Masuya is not dangerous enough in front of the goal. In our NT, Takakura also gave her many opportunities, but she couldn't use them. Her performance against Spain at the Algavre Cup for example was insufficient. And now it seems that Takakura is looking for other options. And not only that, very talented young strikers are coming from the youth teams like Riko Ueki and Jun Endo. So Masuya has to do something before it is too late. I don't want to criticize her too much but she has so much potential and it would be a shame if she would not use it.
UEFA WCL Semi-final (first leg) FT: Man City 1-3 Lyon (Le Sommer 68') Hard to see Man City coming back next Saturday in Lyon after conceding 3 away goals. So it will be OL vs either Barcelona or PSG in the final.
I've done it, i've started a Philippine women's football thread. Please join me there if you're keen on our girls and our football https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/filipinas-rising-the-philippines-womens-football-thread.2044996/
Unfortunately I don't think they're able to overcome PSG in France. World football though has seen stranger things happen so you never know
I like how much cold-blooded Saki always is, when it comes to PKs: converting one at the 2' minute of a Champions' League semifinal is tough, but for her is everyday business!
Saki's just too relied upon that sometimes i think the Lyon captaincy will be hers soon. Anyway congrats to her and the others for showing up the challengers of England! Hehe a bit amused it was the ex-PSG who was able to score against Lyon Speaking of after the restults of the first leg, looks like we'll have another French final soon heh.
Good news from NWSL. North Carolina Courage once again won by the minimal margin (1-0) vs strong opposition of Portland Thorns. Yuri Kawamura played the whole match, and even got a Yellow Card! Seattle Reign FC also won, by 5-1 ! No Japanese goals, but Kawasumi played the whole game and Utsugi started and was subbed out at 76', when the score already was on 5-0 (Ironically, Houston Dash scored their lonely goal only with Rumi out of the pitch ). Video-highlights for both games not yet available, but they will be soon. Edit: highlights are available already, just a few hours after the end of the games! https://www.nwslsoccer.com/videos/16263808 https://www.nwslsoccer.com/videos/16271521
Today's result: Mynabi (OG, Ichise) 2-2 Nojima (Oyama, Kawashima) Jef (Narumiya, Chino) 2-1 Nagano (Kunisawa) Iga (Sugita, Sato, Kojima 2) 4-0 Chifure Urawa 0-3 Beleza (Momiki, Tanaka, Ueki) Nadeshiko League 2 Nippatsu 0-4 Harim (Torao 2, Katsurama, Yatsugi) Konomiya(Taniguchi) 1-2 Cerezo (Tanaka, Takarada) Kibi 0-1 Nittaidai (Kono) Orca (Takahashi) 1-1 Setagaya (Yamamoto) Challenge League East Jumonji (Takizawa) 1-0 NORD Niigata (Masuda) 1-0 Yamato Tsukuba 0-0 Tokiwagi Challenge League West JFA 0-2 Ange Violet (Suzuki, Adachi) Shizuoka 0-0 Nagoya
Hey, some favourites of mine scored today! Fuka Kono! Fumina Katsurama! Also, HS10Legend will be happy to notice that Takarada keeps her pace, and wins the Osaka derby for her team Cerezo (by the way, this means that an half of Osaka is spiraling down to relegation, while the other half hopes for promotion, especially given that rivals of Orca Kamogawa just had a draw). Today's results in Division 1 don't look as anything unexpected, although resounding victories from Beleza and especially Iga are probably higher that one could have predicted. Happy to see Riko Ueki back to goal! (Probably missing since U-17 WWC? ) But I guess that, with Narumiya and Chino scoring, JEF outright wins the prettiness-to-goals-ratio race.
Once again an easy win for Beleza. They have just too much quality in their squad. INAC for example has to fight very hard for every win but for Beleza it seems so easy. On the other hand we have Urawa. 3 losses in 4 matches. Once again a horrible start for them just like last season. Even with a new coach its hard for them to get good results. but what is the problem? the coach? the players? A good analysis of their current situation is necessary. I am super happy for Cerezo, not only because of Takarada but for all these young players who are part of this exciting Team. I just want to see them in 1. Division next season. By the way, it seems that Cerezo is playing whithout their captain Nishida for some weeks now. I guess she is injured? Current captain is Honoka Hayashi. She was the youngest member of last years u20 NT.
