Honestly I'm glad the RB's won, let them have the CCL spot. I'm more concerned with the bye for the playoffs and we're still in a good spot to get it too.
Well that formation was good and I think it was telling that the once Lamps came in for Pirlo the team started scoring goals as well. I'd use pretty much the same lineup except Lamps in for Pirlo in the playoffs and I think the team will do some damage. I'd also substitute Mikey Lopez for Bravo as I think Lopez brings more to the offense side and you'll still get comparable D.
I said at the start of the season I thought the back 3 was our best option to make up for the lack of defensive strength in the midfield. But surprisingly we have only used it sparingly. I hope to see it more in the playoffs, especially games where we need to not concede. Really happy we ended up grabbing second in the end as we need the extra rest. Overall it was a pretty good season for Vieira. Six points off the supporter's shield winners is pretty amazing all things considering. If we can make the back line even semi-competent during the off season we should be able to make some noise next season.
We have a pretty good record against Toronto. I don't believe that we have lost to them yet, so that is encouraging. I don't see either team keeping a clean sheet, so we need Villa and Grandpa Lamps to be firing from the first whistle.
Need to get Harrison out of there. Toronto have been exposing his inexperience. First half was effective, but I don't see us closing the game out like this. I hope at some point in the second half Vieira goes a bit more proactive and brings in Lampard.
