The tournament is played in December. U17 NTs of Chile, Paraguay, Ecuador and Peru are expected to partecipate.
A ban on smiling didn't go well after the loss against the UAE so he asked Teguramori to come back to help with the coach/players relationship
Question: Who was the best player among Hidetoshi Nakata, Shunsuke Nakamura, and Keisuke Honda? Put them in order. I am just curious to know your opinions.
1.Keisuke Honda 2.Shunsuke Nakamura 3.Hidetoshi Nakata I think Honda might be the greatest player while in the Samurai Blue shirt.
I'm half-Japanese lol. Difficult question to be honest.....really difficult. "Greatest" Samurai Blue player is a vague question but for me the order is; 1. Nakata 2. Honda 3. Nakamura All 3 were at one stage or another instrumental in WCQ campaigns or Asian Cup winning campaigns. However only Nakata and Honda lead Japan to results at the World Cup. Regrettably Nakamura's world cup will be remembered as the 2006 one. Of Nakata and Honda I give it to Nakata mainly because of what Honda did for Japan's 1998 WCQ campaign and 1998 World Cup at such a young age. Of the 3 players, my favourite however is definitely Shunsuke Nakamura. Pure class!
Nakata is the only japanese player positive valued in Italy and this is a big achievement. He was the precursor of japanese players in Europe but in a time when they were largely only marketing transfer. Nakamura, whom I felt in love after Confederation Cup in France, was big only in Celtics and he totally missed the opportunity to play in a big club + the WC debacle. He was unlucky to miss 2002 cuz of Troussier dumbness and nearly miss again in 2010 as a bench warmer (plus tx to Endo disqualification he could have played if pks had favored Japan over Paraguay). Honda was, for me, the best ever japanese player when he was at top. Probably he spent his best years in Russia and then moved to a sunken ship as ACMilan. What if he played for a big club in early 2010s?
It's strange that Nakamura only played in one World Cup as a starter. His only other World Cup game other than 2006 was as a substitute against the Netherlands.
Coming from Scotland I can say that Nakamura was a genius, he lit up the Scottish Premier League at times and you can see some of his magic in his career highlight videos. When I first saw the transfer people were like, Nakamura from Reggina? Who is this guy? Then he went on to become a club legend. Amazing
Nakamura's legendary free kick against Manchester United in the Champions League. One of the best derby goals of all time
Would like to know what Halilhodzic used as excuse to still call Kawashima. Also, I was expecting Shibasaki to make it this time, but it seems the Bosnian just don't like him, even Nagaki was included and no Shibasaki...
86.8% - 今シーズン鹿島の全選手の中で最も高いパス成功率を記録しているのは永木 亮太である(86.8%)。初招集。— OptaJiro (@OptaJiro) September 29, 2016 I bet Vahid read this stat and urged to call Nagaki haha

His selections are becoming more mind boggling. I wish he'd shut up about the players he is "interested" in for the future and focus on the present. Pick the players in form whether that's in Europe or J. We've got a massive WCQ against our biggest rival in Asia and a must win home against Iraq.
