I agree...with a backup keeper Holmes seemed hesitant to push a lot. He played well, big penalty save to his credit.

UNC just had too much talent, Drake could not maintain any possession.

Really sucks because I was planning on a little vacation to N.C. next weekend. Now I have to actually focus on college finals.

I know some of you have been Barnstormers fans in the past, some further in the past like myself than others , or are current fans. Would anyone be interested in getting together for their first game vs the Rattlers, since leaving AFL1, on May 22nd if the Menace don't have a home game that night? I'm REALLY hoping we don't play at home or in a road trip city that night. Wish the Stormers would have also gotten games vs the Storm and Predators at home.

For those interested... It's time again! United States getting back to competition.

As always, Outlaws watch party will be at Victors Sports Club at 75th and Douglas in Urbandale. Kickoff is at 8pm, some of us should be arriving as early as 7pm. For those unaware, Victors serves good food and those with kids are welcome too (there are tables).

Hope to see the usual crew there and some new faces. Let's keep giving Victor's further reason to want to accommodate us as our still fairly new home bar.

Wear your red, bring a scarf, and have some fun!

I can obviously put the Red Army logo on the ends and change it to say Des Moines/Red Army.

I would just ONCE like to see a US Nats game where the ref ISNT a integral part of the drama!!

ok...maybe Conrad deserved the 2nd yellow for the off-the-ball shirt tug...maybe not...I would just like a game where I am not sitting for the next 70-some minutes fuming at the guy with the whistle...

Menace site says they will be allowed to release the 2010 schedule. Anyone with some inside info?

so the site said the schedule would be released in January. It's February, and no schedule.

Why ya gotta do that Snakes? You know theres no inside info. The USL probably just had to muddle through some shtuff. Menace, PDL.
But if you want to know how I feel, you can buy me a beer and I'll tell you all about it.

I just heard that the schedule should be out some time this week and apparently there were some issues with the USL and not the Menace. i imagine the schedule would look kind of like last year's hopefully with hosting playoffs again.

 

I just want to know if:

there are viable road trip dates to KC and Rochester.
we play at home on June 12th. US/England watch party would also make a good pre-game.
the Menace conflict with the Barnstormers/Predators game.
the imbalance, mostly regarding Thunder Bay, is going to be big or not.
any matches conflict with NASCAR races.

 

Menace Twitter says the schedule should be out tomorrow, pending USL approval.

With the MLS schedule out, I also want to know if any matches conflict with the Fire at home or the KC road trip
