Naeher with the early blunder. I sure wish we would've invested in getting some other keeper some playing time.

Naeher needs to get her s*(% together. If she makes enough poor play they should sub in Harris. I hate changing keepers but this is ridiculous. We cannot win with that play. Harris is smaller, but she has the mental toughness/ego you need at this level.

11' 1-1 Mewis fouls Losada down, she stays down injured at own 25m center. Stoppage.

13' 1-1 Lavelle cuts inside to circle top right, 40m ground pass splits Spain's high line to 6m 6-left for Rapinoe in behind the line. Rapinoe shoots one-touch left instep wide left low, Paños dives and blocks it wider over endline.

17' 1-1 Heath passes to 6-top 4-right, scramble ensues, Spain clear.

19' 0-0 Ertz slide-pokes to Mewis at 25m mid-left, turn and pass down box right for Dunn chasing to 7m, one-touch hard cross just misses Morgan(?) at 5m 1/4 left, away through 6-right.

Spain have to clear their mind: you just cannot trigger an opponent counter-attack from a completely wrong long throw-in in the opponent's half! :x3: They were lucky that Lavelle missed the assist for Morgan.

I know. That was weird. As poor a throw in as you'll see by Spain leads to an awesome counter. That Lavelle just boots away.

Feels like the pitch needs watering. Ball constantly slowing up passes.

23' 0-0 Spain right throw-in at circle top, poorly toward circle left, Lavelle intercepts and leads a counter past circle top. Finally, Lavelle misses a diagonal pass through box top 6-left, too far for Morgan.

24' 0-0 Corredera right throw-in at circle top, USA promptly steal and switch right.

25' 0-0 Dunn and L.García both slide for a ball, both touch it, Dunn trips over L.García's leg, pops back up and turns away. Torrecilla comes across and trips Dunn flat, foul.

26' 0-0 USA fk at 35m mid-left, into box mid-left, switch to box top right. Heath drives to 12m box right, cross to 12m 2/5 right, Ertz comes to ball and shoots low right roundhouse way over right 90.
