I'm amazed at for how much the media and Feds shitted on Roca, they seem to have taken a passive approach on Primi... @martinezchino La Selecta lleva 6 partidos en la era Maradiaga: 4 derrotas, dos empates. Ya son 4 partidos seguidos sin anotar gol.
They probably realised that Roca was doing a good job after all, but it was too late and they scared him away. They probably don't want to do the same thing to Primi. I don't think Roca or Cuadrat are coaching any team atm. Would love for him to come back.
THIS. Also, Barahona was horrible tonight. Leave Larin back there, but Alas on the left (though he did good behind dustin) and put Dustin behind the ST. Or switch Alas and Dustin. Moran, while playing above average in the league, should not be seen for a while after the way he played yesterday. Put Aguila there, he played well vs Panama. Would also love to see Mayen with Ceren in the middle of the field. ---Benji--- RB?--Romero--Mendoza--Larin Mayen--Ceren Dustin--Punyed--Alas Bonilla That would be my personal 11. IDK who I'd put as RB (Castro?). TBH, any chance we have of getting into the HEX is based on WINNING both of the games...
"Los de la selecta, empezando por el entrenador, se ganan el salario bien chiche, como si fueran de esos diputados que nunca llegan a trabajar, y cada vez que salen del país solo les brillan los ojos por los viáticos y hacer turismo. Estos muchachos son incapaces de hacer un buen pase, aprovechar un tiro libre, cobrar un tiro de esquina, - Otoniel Guevara An ironic quote from a far leftist.
Lol no they got shitted on for the same reason Ruben and El Cuate (he deserved every bit of it though) was because of the amount of money they were making and the result didn't reflect what everyone hoped. Despite Ruben having the best win/loss ratio out of the last batch of coaches iirc. sure you can argue the fact that they are Caribbean teams but hey you have to beat who is in front of you.
To be fair, it didn't help Roca that FESFUT organised friendlies with a number of world class teams. Our brand new team was just not ready to play against the likes of Colombia or Argentina.
What's ridiculous is that the coach decided not to bring any forwards and uses a player who's been playing for his recent seasons as a winger. This coach is tactically/setting up doesn't seem to not know what he's doing either. Ruben and Roca do have something similar and they study their own players stats detail by detail and even movements on the fields. Even the opponents the face up against. Roca definitely did build up his resume because right now he didn't need to stay coaching in El Salvador. He's a UEFA Pro coach trainer. This current coach needs to go. He has the players to get the results but doesn't choose to use the players or use them right either. What was his formation in the last match for? His central defenders were basically in between central and defensive mid position leaving gaps. His LB and RB were pushing up too often as if they were playing on the wings most of the game. Which effected most of the game if you notice that's how Guatemala scored moving from there right side of the field. Left side had no problem crossing and passing. The right side was a constant threat, since they left gaps on the right side for them to dribble or run. Now the coach says the goalie wasn't to blame. The goalie was out of it, I don't know what he's talking about. Guatemalan commentators even said the goalie doesn't seem to be mentally in the match too. He let a couple balls roll to him slowly and he manages to slip up and having to go back and get the ball. If you all want Zelaya back and be forgiving to him then you all better want Villalobos back because he's definitely better than Hernandez.
Up until now I thought the worst thing they could do was bring Zelaya back, I thought he would taint the youngin's and that we'd possibly have the same match fixing problems in 5 years. However, the ball were playing right now is horrendous and I think he'd be a spark. If I were primi tho knowing how bad the forwards are I'd bring in Zelaya and Reyes. They've been writing him off for about 5 years now and all he's done is produce.
Shit, we don't really need a big ass name for a coach though. There's Porter from the Timbers, there's zarco, Hugo Perez (they could come back if FESFUT wanted them too). There's Sarulyte also. Sanchez. But cmon now
I know. I'm just saying, its so frsutrating that we have this shitty coach when there are SOOOO many other options for us.
Tbh I prefer Zarco, Pichi and Sanchez where they are right now. I don't know where Perez is atm, so if he's not doing anything then he should come back to ES.

http://livesport.im/canal-6-en-vivo-2 I was watching the Sports just now on there and they dedicated a grand total of 10 minutes on the game in a 60 minute show dominated by Baseball. They think they should win the game. They asked the guest on the show if they stadium would fill, guest said no. They asked who would fill the stadium in Centralamerica vs Nicaragua, guest said Definitely Costa Rica could. Expect the game to be on Youtube because signals are easy to take, so there.
thanks pep, el grafico tweeted that the game will not be broadcast in canal 4 due to nicaragua tv station having technical issues. This probably eliminates any streaming since the main source will not have it.
