Rob Halford has been out for decades (since at least the late 1990's) and it was pretty obvious for decades before that.

Oh, he is also 66 years old.

If you are able to marry him, I would be happy to attend the ceremony. It would be a hoot.

 

I will go one step further.

If you manage to convince Rob Halford to marry you "out of principle," I will agree to receive the certification to officiate the marriage.

Just this morning, I was teaching my students about the legal requirements of marriage.
One of the requirements is "solemnization" of the marriage, which can be civil, religious, Native American, tribal, etc. but there must be someone to perform the marriage who is allowed by the state to do it.

There are Internet sites (such as American Marriage Ministries) where someone can quickly and cheaply become "ordained" to perform marriages.

The requirement is that someone solemnize the marriage, but almost anyone can be allowed to do it.

 

A fun hobby at the radio station was for random student managers to get "ordained".
