Who is still technically ours that's on loan at other first division teams? Just Gullit? Anyone that we loaned to an Ascenso team that's worth bringing back? Which youngsters should we send out on on loan again? I think Ponce, Calderon, and Basulto are out. I would like to keep Calderon because he provides solid depth but he's here on loan and it doesn't make financial sense to buy him permanently with everyone we have coming back at the wing.
We are going to play Concachampions, but I would not want Calderon. I think there could be less expensive and more physical players who can give you the same, if not more, than Calderon did this season. Calderon really did nothing but the goal/ He was just benefited by the fact that he played in the liguilla because of injuries, and Almeyda's great defensive/pressure tactic worked and he was one of the players playing in the liguilla run. We could have easily been out in any of those games as in. He did not give any plus. He will be buried with the return of Cisneros and Brizuela.
Néstor Calderón and Guillermo Martínez out http://www.espn.com.mx/futbol/mexic...uillermo-martinez-bajas-de-chivas-en-apertura Almeyda says he wants to keep Cota but Pachuca is asking for a lot of money. Time to start playing Jimenez some more. The guy did great during the Copa MX

if we look at that list, very few can make an impact and it's players we have seen with the first team before.
Yeah, none of them really jump out besides Salcedo, but I think he wants to stay in Europe. That's what I thought of Fierro and he ended up working out.
He played really well. He seems to have learned how to play not being as fast or explosive as he used to be.
I'm glad he won with us. He had already gotten exported when we won in '06. But make room for the youth. Do us a favor and Retire Salcido.
Old man game has its own aesthetic. It's intellect and wisdom. I guess it's easier to appreciate as we get older. Ha
Salcido messed up royally in the first game against Toluca But other than that he was actually pretty solid. Didn't commit stupid mistakes or give the ball away like he tended to do during the regular season I don't mind him sticking around but he's definitely not starter material anymore
Why not though? Dude showed against the best team in Mexico that he can still play at a high level. I'm glad he's sticking around tbh he's gotten a lot of undeserved hate if you ask me. A club legend.
