(I don't think Alan Smith will suit up for this one, but it was a good historic photo of an Arsenal-Norwich Clash from May 1989).

Since we're less than a week out I thought I'd go ahead and make the thread. Here's hoping we can keep our string of positive results going, and that no one gets hurt during the second round of internationals this week. At least Robin is back in London. Thank you, van Marwijk.

Very eager for the league to start up again. Looks like RVP won't play for Holland against Germany during the coming week, so it seems like a small miracle that he is returning healthy AND rested.

Feels like a 2-0 win for us.

Smash these pricks 5-0 and lets make a statement to the league that we are on the way back to taking our spot.

Can't wait for this one. At least we have one for sure starter in RVP. Any predicted lineups? Its getting kinda easy besides the centre back pairing. Who do you guys think we will see for the CB's? If Norwich has any kind of heading game I am guessing we will see the Mert and Verm/Kos.

we should win ok, but we'll have to put the effort in.
norwich are a steady team who work hard and if we get complacent they could well take advantage.

Thats a great pic of Alan. Look at the intensity!

And speaking of intensity, we need to ramp that up this weekend for sure. Can't afford to start slow after these interlulls.

Is there any team to whom that wouldn't apply?

probably not, but it probably applies moreso against teams who put the effort in over the full match.

No, but seriously, this is a fun game for me personally. My grandmother is from Norwich and I visited there this past January when I was over to see where she grew up, church my grandparents were married in, airbase my grandfather flew out of, so, yeah, this is a fun one.

I've been led to believe that the people of Norwich all drive tractors and speak like pirates. Is that an accurate assessment?

Ipswich fans kept calling themselves the Tractor Boys. Maybe it's an East Anglia thing.

Norfolk.......... is a wannabee, Cornish Pirate accent.

And yet, there are about 30 dialects and brogues, as the crow flies, between Norwich and Polperro.

I would doubt, that there is any other nation in the world, that has such a diversity of accents, over such a small landmass, than Great Britain.

    Not languages....Dialects & Brogues

(Sounds like Dr.Who going shopping for shoes!!):D

    ......but I could be wrong.
