The eternal battle on how to get people to the stadium. Title : The battle for the stands. The head of Norwegian Supporter Alliance are tired of guards who attack the fence climbers . He still believe that much more can be done so that Norwegian football fans should feel at home, even on away game. read more at: http://www.sporten.com/feature/kampen-om-tribunen
This is how Vålerenga works to avoid football brawl. Vålerenga has long worked systematically to deal with violent fans. Here you get a little insight into how they work. - In 2014, we got to a separate partnership with Ultras group Icarus. We got a lot of criticism from several sides for this agreement, but afterwards it has been proven to work. Ultras got a separate field in the stands and in 2014 we had a few problems: not illegal pyro, no storming the pitch, not noise or other illegalities. - All admits now that it has been a successful collaboration so far. In this context, the group internal justice, mutual respect and tolerance important factors. It is good that they proved worthy of the trust in 2014, says Alexandersen. read more at : http://www.sporten.com/feature/kampen-mot-slasskampen
One more new thing this year is that TV2 has bought rights for Tippeligane from C-more . So now TV2 has the whole league under their umbrella. A positive thing for most people following Tippeligaen i think http://www.tv2.no/a/6605690 The fans react with a 161 protest. They want only 3 match times to relate to. 1 match Saturday 6 matches Sunday 18:00 1 main match Sunday night http://www.fotballsupporter.no http://www.fotballsupporter.no/index.php/161/til-klubblederne So far 15 clubs , 32 fan clubs , 25 alternative groups and 9 fanzines support the proposal
Bakenga hurt in his debut for Molde today against Aalesund. Bakenga was retrieved to replace the long-term injured Fredrik Gulbrandsen. The match ended 2-2 http://www.tv2.no/2015/03/30/sport/molde/mushaga-bakenga/6748767
This is the year where I get back into the Tippeliga. I use to have someone who would rip the games, because it's so hard watching the league in the US.
Could anybody tell me why Tromso seem to be considered to be so very strong? I ask from a betting perspective. I placed a bet on their game against Sarpsborg (on Sarpsborg), and the odds for a Tromso win were 1.74, this is about 60 % probability. Tromso just got promoted. I know little about Norwegian Football besides knowing last year's table, but just by looking at the stats of last season I would have given Tromso more like 40 % for a win. Does anybody know more?
Teams with artificial grass tend to pick many point at home. Teams like Tromsø and Saprsborg are much better home then away. The difference in the surface and the way you have to adapt to the way the players and the ball behave and move have a much greater impact out trough the season then natural grass. But to have natural green grass in Tromsø in the end of march/start og april isn`t easy Rosenborg have started like they did in the great 90`s. Goal difference 11-0 after 2 games. Strømsgodset have started poor in my eyes. But i expect Strømsgodset up there after a while. A positive devolopment this year is the increase in both spectators in the stadium and the increase in tv viewers. Might be a result from the succsess from the biggest teams in start .
Vålerenga are going back to the east side off Oslo after many years in Ullevål . Starting to build a new stadium in may (i think ) Planned to be ready for the season 2017.

Vålerenga - Haugesund yesterday 2-0 Players makes teams Fans makes clubs Give us predictability 1-6-1 RBK - Strømsgodset 1-1 RBK had their first legal pyro today after the new pyro regulations was inserted last season. And rumours has it the Helland stood with the fans and used a flare .
Eurpean Cup RBK won 2-3 over Hungarian Debrecen Strømsgodset lost 2-0 in Croatia against Hajduk Split ODD (With a good away support) lost 2-1 in Sweden against Elfsborg. Yesterday Vålerenga laid down the foundation stone for our new stadium. 1000-2000 people showed up for the ceremony, and fans did a corteo up to the construction site. Construction starts next week, with completion by summer 2017. The stadium will have a capacity of 18.000, and the gem of the stadium will be the supporters terrace with a capacity of 6000. No seats!
Can anybody that follows Norwegian Football closely tell me what is going on with Bodo/Glimt? After 8 games they had 2 points, but they then started winning constantly, of the next 14 matches they managed to win 10, and against strong opposition like Rosenborg and in Valeranga. It is very remarkable!
I haven't paid close attention but for me their start was more suprising than their resurgence, which I honestly expected. I watched a couple of their early games and thought they looked alright, they were just lacking the finishing touch. They had some problems, like key player Badou greatly underperforming. He had his head elsewhere, set on a transfer. Same with Sané. I guess settling things with those two was important for the mental hygiene in the changing room. I haven't seen that many games with them, however. I don't know if there was some tactical changes or something like that at some point. I always expected them to find their form though. I expected the same from Tromsø, the other club from Northern Norway. Although, their troubles were more obvious and alarming, they should have the quality in their squad to perform better. For a while it looked like they were headed in the right direction and results started to improve but then they made a mess of everything when they fired their coach, a decision with which none of the players agreed, or understood.
