    Dynamite Force 0(3)-(5)0 Warri Wolves

Jigawa, Adamawa, Akwa Starlets, and Warri Wolves are promoted to the NPFL for the 2019/2020 season (rumored to start mid-September) and will participate in the Super 4 for the overall championship.

    Nigerian clubs get CAF assignments.

    Champions League

NPFL champions Enyimba have drawn Burkina Faso champions Rahimo FC.

Runners up Kano Pillars face Ghana's Asante Kotoko (and the trash talking has already begun. It's been awhile since Ghanaian and Nigerian clubs faced each other)

Relegated Niger Tornadoes (who face Champions League bound Kano Pillars in the Cup Final on July 28) will face Santoba Conakry.

    Cup Final Day!

In front of a capacity Ahmadu Bello stadium in Kaduna, Kano Pillars defeat Niger Tornadoes 4-3 on penalties (0-0 at full time) to win the cup for the first time.

    Pitch invasion after the match by Pillars fans ruined a great mood. 1564336300560.jpg IMG_20190728_112112.jpg IMG_20190728_122239.jpg IMG_20190728_104220.jpg IMG_20190728_104215.jpg IMG_20190728_104210.jpg IMG_20190728_104026.jpg IMG_20190728_104010.jpg IMG_20190728_103931.jpg IMG_20190728_103843.jpg IMG_20190728_103839.jpg IMG_20190728_103834.jpg IMG_20190728_103830.jpg

The 2019/2020 season is scheduled to kick off on September 22, 2019 and end on May 17, 2020

Other than the Akwa Starlets (or Stars) situation (will they or won't they sell their spot) there isn't anything preventing the season beginning on time.

Second Division NNL will announce their schedule when the NLO playoffs conclude at the end of the month.

If the season kicks off on time it will be the first time since 2009-2010 season (Won by Enyimba ) that the season followed the "European" calendar.
