Any update on Salihovic guys? Will he be ready against Nigeria & Iran?

 

As long as he's fit then that's great. I don't think he'll start though but he'll be a great sub.

What do you guys think of Hajrovic as CAM? He has the vision, the ability, and his speed can be very useful. I could just see him doing a great job of putting through balls to the middle or stretching out to the wing to draw defenders and nailing a cross.

Was thinking about it since that Mexico lineup and I wouldnt mind it however Salihovic cannot be on the field with him. 2 players not tracking back often is key to failure.

Maybe if Stevanovic had developed properly we could have him on the right with Visca on the left and Hajrovic in the middle. The thing that concerns me most about that lineup is the fact that Salihovic is too slow to play out wide, any decent RB would eat him up and leave our left side exposed especially with another offensive minded player in Lulic playing that side.

 

Not if Stevanovic developed properly its if he actually could make smart career decisions. He wouldve developed fine if he was smarter.

I love Salihovic. Was my first favorite player on BiH(Im a freekick and penalty kick kinda guy if yall can remember correctly) but he cannot play CAM for us cuz we have better options. And he cannot play any wide position because of his lack of pace and defensive understanding. And now its quite obvious he cant play DM because we have 2 fantastic makeshift DMs. He would be a terrific impact sub at CAM or DM tho if desperate or if it may head to ET+PKs
