NewsChannel 8 Feed Zoomed/Grainy/Awful Quality?

I have to give either DirecTV or NC8 some credit, as now DirecTV's feed of NC8 is merely center cut, so you can seen the score/clock; however, the picture is stretched, so while long shots don't look too bad, close-ups of players make them appear a bit "wide."

 

see if you can adjust the video display directly on your TV

 

After tonight, I would prefer a test pattern for two hours.

I can; I can set it to 4:3 to get the ratio right. That, of course, puts sidebars on the picture, but it eliminates the "wide" people effect.
