Orleans is promoted to Ligue 2. Thats Orleans, France not New Orleans USA. Small stadium not up to Ligue 2 standards. Im pretty sure the Ligue 2 minimum standard is 10,000 seats. Luzenac is going to be the smallest club ever to compete in Ligue 2. With Luzenac and Orleans in Ligue 2 with crappy stadiums, I cant say Im excited but they did earn their places so be it. I did hear rumors of Luzenac playing in Toulouse and Orleans playing in Le Mans.
I think they are upgrading their stadiums to meet L2 standards but Im not totally sure. If its 5,000 seats they cant add 5,000 more seats in a few months. Thats impossible. Maybe they are giving them a pass for now. Someone who is informed on this topic needs to comment. Anyway, only 1 spot open left for Ligue 2 promotion. Teams who get relegated from Ligue 2 get to keep their pro status for 2 years I think so CA Bastia is still pro as well.
