Got my latest Soccer America yesterday, and I have to say I was impressed with their new 4 page section dedicated to news from the competitive youth game. I left it at home, so I can't list the specific articles, but it seemed pretty packed with information - especially compared to the dull "Youth Soccer Letter" that used to be a feature on just one club. Anybody else see it? I've been tempted to let my subscription lapse, but seeing this has made me reconsider.
You got that right I've thought for several years that their "youth soccer letter" was long overdue for an overhaul--not that Paul wasn't a good writer, but the space was just so inadequate given youth soccer's importance to the sport in the US (or anywhere for that matter). It cheered me greatly to see the whole new 'Forum' and in fact the whole issue was a breath of fresh air...(the 'leave it to Beasley' cover headline notwithstanding)...
