Three of them as forwards? Hey - at least they'd have some chance to connect with one of those long, high crosses we seem so adept at making...
Sorry, I did not mean player for player. Many prior posts are wanting Felipe to be in the starting line up. My only concern is the whole rearranging of players we all would like to see happen appears to not be of concern at all to the coach, as Marie has not yet been inserted for depth (as well as Flo) and Felipe isn't even there to be a player. It is still early in the season, but this group has to give the coaching staff a bit more rope. Jesse, however, is at the end of his IMHO.
According to Alex Jones, Almeyda is purposely using these defenders to show the world how bad they are, so he can justify why he will get Galindo Jr to start. Seriously, it will be 2-2. Wondo and Vako for us.
Interesting while the defense has not been great I would hope he is a lot more concerned about the offense basically being non-existence. At some point we need to score if we want to win.
I think we will lose by 3... We are just not there folks, and Almeyda will trot out the same 11 he has for the last five games... really.
Well Red Bulls are having a complete melt down in the second half of their CCL game against Santos. 4 goals scored in just the second half and it's only the 83rd minute as write this. Hopefully this destroys their confidence for Saturdays game against the Quakes.
Full time - NYRB eliminated from CCL after 4-2 loss (6-2 aggregate) Hopefully their spirits are crushed and they have a long exhausting flight home.
It should be, but it's not. We only brought in four new players and a home grown. I think even our draft picks are with Reno. So more like a little paint on a delapidated house, as opposed to actual repair work. Go Quakes!!! We suck!! - Mark
For this one I think we need to sit back and play conservative D and strictly try to capitalize on a handful of counter opportunities. If we try to play an open game we'll get shredded. I'll roll with Shea as a conservative stay home LB...to give Lopez a chance to influence the counter from left mid...Wondo as a late game sub. I also really want to see Flo and Judson paired. .................Hoesen................ Lopez........Vako............TT ............Flo.......Judson......... Shea..Cummings..Kashia..Lima
We are going to see the same 11, the same 11, the same strategy, the same strategy... "and we're going to be really, really good some day, when everyone learns the new system. We really are..." Now if we only had a brain...
Who knows, maybe el Profe is crazy enough to play the squad in a 1-2-3-4 alignment. Hell, it worked in the early days of football.. Or maybe a classic W-M formation. Anything may be better that what we’ve seen so far.
I considered that as a means of earning a scoreless draw and evading 0-34. But our guys aren't tall enough. A quality free kick or 20 will sail right in.
That will warrant many VAR moments when the ball hits the hands. And we have not had much luck with VAR so far.

Stack the players length wise, foot to head, from the ground up, until the entire goal is covered. Make sure those hands are behind the body and pray the shots don't hit their head.
