Lol none of that in the city unless you live in the way upper areas of Manhattan/Bronx. Plus I think Russian, Italian, Chinese gangs are way more prevalent.
I was just messing around with all that. LA is just my adopted home, and today the weather was right around 72(Which is 22 degrees C) degrees during the day, fantastic weather. As for the game itself, it will be one week after our WCQ, so that's good. This would of been the game we played Brazil anyways in Brazil, but now we got them in a "friendly".
Actually in 2006, the problem was between Independiente barras and LBDT had a fight in Germany near the border with Czech Republic, in 2010, the person that died was a member "La Banda de Lomas" but died of a heart attack, the bands didn't meet. The leader of Central's barra, Andrés "Pillín" Bracamonte had authorization by a jury of Rosario but was sent back, also Sergío "Flay" Roldán leader of the one of San Martín the Tucumán was sent back and arrested when he arrived. Regarding the location in FIFA's site it only says "New York". Also, I'm wondering if this'll serve as the 2012 equivalent of the Superclásico de las Americas like what they did last year. Is it a FIFA matchday?
It's on the FIFA calendar, so yeah. I doubt it's the Superclasico since those are usually home/away, no? And I doubt they'll send in domestic squads to New York.
yup it'll be at giants stadium. and i agree with you. it's such a fukin' pain in the balls to get outta there, which is why i've avoided the big friendlies and any other matches that have been played there (except for when peru came around a few times ). however, this is def. a special one. this'll sell out fast even with criminally-high prices. best advice? kick the ball around afterwards, drink some more and hang out--should be a nice early june night...... better than trying to leave in the pack.
Hi my name is Christian and i live in buenos aires. I´ll go in june to NY and i really like to see argentina vs brazil. Could you please tell me the ways for get a ticket for this or other events (NBA, broadway shows, etc). Regards!
tickets for the game are not on sale yet. Giants Stadium http://www.giants.com/tickets-and-stadium/index.html New York Knicks http://www.ticketmaster.com/New-York-Knicks-tickets/artist/805988?tm_link=edp_Artist_Name Broadway shows - i don't know for sure
Go but don't think that's the NYC experience because it's a horrible time to get there. Tenes que coger un autobus. Y hay mucho trafico. NBA is easy as are Broadway shows but be prepared to spend a lot of money. NYC no es barato.
thanks guys, i really appreciation your interest. I think about new york, because in a few years, i´m sure that i live here, for my job. For this reason, i´ll like to go at this date, because this match binds a lot of latin american people and i don´t think alone in the city.
There is a train now that runs into the new stadium. it is called Met Life Stadium now and i think the train somes from Penn Station. http://www.njtransit.com/sf/sf_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=MeadowlandsTo
Considering it took some folks up to three/four hours minimum I wouldn't think you should worry too much about that. Of course if they finally got the construction issues worked out it might be better but considering it's Nuevo Jersey I wouldn't hold my breath.
Going with two friends. Will be in the low 200s, Brazil section. Looks like this time, unlike in 2008, Ticketmaster allows customers to choose team sections. It's a wise addition to the ticket sales - this is a match where fans really should stick to their own.
