I like how we've decided that the name is Chicago Municipal.

If it's name is anything else they
    1 . Haven't thought of it yet
    Or
    2. It's trademarked under an entity other than "Northside football holdings"

if they based it off of the players weekend jerseys, maybe it would help make it look a little different from the "royal and white" and the "navy and sky" teams. royal blue with sky sleeves?

That is true, but would be really unfortunate.

Of course, I want the Fire to return to Chicago propery, but I do not want the Fire to simply walk from Bridgeview.

I want the Village of Bridgeview to be properly compensated for what they did for us and for soccer in the Chicago area. They took a huge chance on the Fire and while it did not work out, it was absolutely not the fault of the Village of Bridgeview.

I do kind of miss the old A League nostalgia of the "Milwaukee Wave United".

Navy+Sky are one of those color combos that's going to look really dated in a decade or two. Kind of like how 90s expansion sports teams couldn't get enough teal.

Sidenote- I still wish Milwaukee could find an MLS level ownership group for an expansion team. It sucks not having any rivals that are less than a 8-10 hour round trip drive away.

I couldn’t agree more. I love going to away games, and it’s very hard. The east coast Mls teams are spoiled, and they hardly travel at all.

I'm hoping for a simple royal and white striped kit (like Chivas or Argentina, but royal rather than red or sky). Maybe a dash or red trim like the Adidas logo & stripes, cuff, and/or collar.

I’d be happy with something like Napoli or Uruguay. I know not everyone likes sky blue, but I’m a fan of it. Or maybe even something like Celtic (sky blue instead of green) to replicate the design of the city flag.

Whatever it ends up being it should be something understated and classy that will (hopefully) age well as a timeless design.

The way the league is treating Columbus leaves me no doubt that the people of Bridgeview will be told to drop dead when the lease comes to a close.

They don’t deserve it, and it’s a sh*tty thing to do which makes me certain Garber & Co. will do it.

Sure, once the lease is done, there is no ongoing relationship or requirements.
I have no problem with that. There are no further relationships between tenant and landlord after the expiration of a lease.

I do not want Bridgeview to f'd over now.
I want the Fire to move to Chicago, to be hugely successful and for the Village of Bridgeview to be compensated for their efforts for the Fire.
I fear that they will be shafted.

It says that is a "Division III" shirt.
Should that be for the Fire now?

Understood that was the color scheme was referring more to the detail. That's why I shot it off-center, to show the detailing on the sleeve, etc.

BTW, the Nike looks like shyte. Then again, most of the offerings these days from the big two are either cookie-cutter boring, or look like someone vomited on a template.

Hopefully not. The name isn't the problem, it's been Andi.

Get a owner that cares, hire the right GM (Wilt), hire the right coaches (Bradley, he likes starting new projects, Nowak, Bastian, Stoichkov, Kubik, CJ, Razov etc). It would be nice to see some of the originals at the games.

If it's TOYOTA Park, I bet they could fill it with a team that is run by these guys.

Yes, more of this look. Nobody currently owns that look in MLS. But with a bit more class than the boring template look. I'm sick of the stock jerseys that creep into every league now.
