So needs. Center back or three, DM, creative midfielder, striker or two, fullback, and a starting keeper. Not too much Out Sinclair (addy Ward), Moreno, Skirtel, Kolo, Milner, probably Lucas, and hopefully Lovren. Also Bentecke at a big loss of money and perhaps Sturridge
Rumour: Joel Matip signs pre-contract deal to join Liverpool http://metro.co.uk/2016/02/03/rumour-joel-matip-signs-pre-contract-deal-to-join-liverpool-5660935/
Doubt all that happens. Sinclair, Kolo, Enrique will definitely leave. Possibly Balotelli, Ilori, and maybe one or two others. Realistically im hoping for one CB and a top class striker. Icing on top would be a winger who actually scores. Right now I'd take just the striker.
Looks like taxiera has joined a chinese club for 38 Million and he was so desperate to join us? LOL Pure Merc glad klopp pulled the plug
The same Chinese club that signed Ramires for 25m and rumoured to be after Yaya Toure. That's quite some squad they are working on ..........
In fairness to the player, he was also trying to get out of the Ukraine, which isn't exactly the best place to be these days.
What @AndSomeAreAngels said above^ Can't attack the guy for taking huge wages and a move out of Ukraine!
Again though if Benteke is worth 32m is it not possible Alex Teixeira is worth 6m more? Sounds plausible, but we'll likely never know.
Lucas and Kolo will likely be the only ones I see going out. The bigger one being Skrtel. I don't see FSG ready to take a big wage swipe at Benteke. I see Sturrige gone.
Depends on what Sturridge does the rest of the year. He still might end up being are most productive striker
I still think with Sturbridge that we cannot count on him - ever, at all...we need a replacement. IF he comes good over the next season or two - or three...that should be taken as a bonus - but to count on him at this point is beyond reason. How long is his contract for? Anyone know?
Summer 2019 according to this http://www.transfermarkt.com/daniel-sturridge/profil/spieler/47082 He'll be turn 30 3 months after his contract expires at the end of June. Can't see him playing past then unless he somehow makes a complete recovery.
Beneteke was not worth 32 million, that was the Tax for Selling to a Rival Mr Glass wants out, he has had enough of the club calling him a froot
Sometimes, players leave purely for money, Ramirez included. We forget that some players are not Neymars or Ronaldo's and don't have that marketing appeal to have a brand after they retire. Some of them, don't got the brains for coaching or probably don't want that stress. At most, it's punidtry for them. These big money moves are so that they can secure big money for their life. Football or sports in general, is not like a normal proffession where you can work till 50-60.. After your body wears down, you're outtie!
I agree with that up to a point. as well as for better financial security, many players move because they want to have a career winning something that's worth winning in the game - and along with that kind of move they always get more $$. but any player moving to China is doing it purely and only for money, with no care about what their career achieves.
Problem with Sturridge is that he seems just as injury prone as Agger did the last year or two of his attendance.
same shit happened in russia, and many still look to leave, the product in china is so weak many players who have any real ambition dont go or want out very soon.
I don't think there China is anything to worry about. If your 20 and go to China to play by the time your 25 your career is over because you've just smoked the equivalent of 50 packs of cigarettes a day and now can't even run to the center of the field
