We both know that there are many Muslims who identify as Croatians. Does that bother you? Why did the Ustaše refrain from persecuting Bosniaks if not because they recognized them as Croatian Muslims? I don't have time to read 10 pages worth of stuff in order to reply here, but here's my opinion on the matter, for what it's worth. I'm apolitical. I don't vote, I have disdain for far right, I have disdain for anarchists, I have disdain for everyone who blames someone else for their misfortune, especially the people in the far left, because they're the plague, they are using linching tactics to force their opponents into silence, fear and suicide, something that far left doesn't. But both movements have body counts to answer for in the hundreds of millions, although the left has much more, numbers-wise. My personal political view is simple: I work on acquiring more knowledge and skills and business opporutunities for myself, because that yields me far, far more money and benefits than a politician ever would. I.e. as long as there's democracy and freedom and free market, I prefer voting for myself, not for someone else, who's probably lying too. I've been born 29 years ago, roughly a year after the communism in my country has been abolished. So I have never actually lived in it. My parents and grandparents have. They have mixed feelings about communism. They're not ignorant towards its bad sides: - There are still few rich and 99.99% suckers who work for them - You get fined or arrested if you aren't working. - You always have work places open waiting for you, even if it's not what you want to do. It most often isn't, actually. - Communism works on the principle of resource re-allocation. If USA was a communist union with 51 countries under it instead of states, that would mean that a state that had great land for food production would mostly do food production, a state that has natural resources like coal, iron, etc would specialize in mining, a state that has access to building materials potential like bricks, mortar, etc. would specialize and that, and then you use your power to acquire resources from each of them at the prices and quantities you've distated and re-distribute the excess from each state, so that all 51 states have food, building materials, coal/iron. That, however, means that people are working with quotas. Consequence 1: Although there's some quality control, it's not like there's an agency looking for the end customer's rights, because everything is owner by the state and supervised by the 0.1%. Conseuqence 2: Quotas are an awful way for managing any manufacturing process, because people would either just do the quota and stop working or do 80% of the quota and say that they've over-delivered, the latter was the most common thing. Consequence 3: Entrepreneurship is pretty much dead, so there are less innovations, less efficiency-driven managers, the workers don't give two ********s about extra benefits and promotions, because those are reserved for the cousins and kids of the 0.1%. Conseuqnece 4: You only eat what you grow. If no state is growing bananas or kiwis or beef, you don't get to eat those. Maybe you'll have a chance to buy a kilogram of each ONCE PER YEAR, waiting on a 2 kilometeres long line, hoping against hope that the retired people who could wait on those from 6 AM in the morning while you get back to work in 6 PM in the eveng won't buy out everything in the meantime. Oranges and bananas were like that, many other fruits too. Consequence 5: No foreign brands. Coca Cola, Levis, Mars bars, BMWs - forget about it. Those are reminders that people across the border live better, and the 0.1% cannot have that, can they? Consequence 6: You don't get to go outside of your town or country, especially not outside of the Communist Union, because you'd be able to see what freedom is, and its benefits. Consequence 7: Due to lower production rates in technology of any kinds, you'd wait for a Lada on a waiting list after prepaying for it for 1 to 20 years. You might never get one too. That also means less cars for the population, so your freedom of traveling is severely f*cked up if only 20% of the population has a car that you could borrow. Consequence 8: Because the good possitions in the factory are reseved for the 0.1%, you have a ceiling about how far your career can ever go, regardless of your level of experience/skills. The highest level is shift manager at best. Consequence 9: You get to wait 1-2-3 years for things like freezer, oven, TV etc. Any "new" technology like AC neds 5-10 years to trickle down to the general populus. Some other fun stuff. Because different things tend to unite people and enlighten them and make them hungry for a better/fairer life: - Religion is banned or very restricted. - Literature, music, and any kind of entertaiment is 80% propaganda and 20% content. Artists and bands who aren't praising the communist way of life in their works are banned. All outside artists and works are banned, so forget about Marvel comics, or Game of Thrones, or purchasing the book 1984 from your local bookstore. - Enlgihtened people cause trouble, so access to quality higher education like universities is very restricted to the A and B+ kind of students, and even not all of them may enter a university if the daughter/son of the local middle party member is of age and needs a spot. - Because any contradicting opinions can cause trouble for the party and the top 0.1%, they have a secret police and secret agents among the general populus, which means that your uncle might be a spy for the party without you ever knowing. And because you might be one too and you might test his dedication to the party, if you say something unwise, he'll probably betray you to the party regardless of how much he cares about you. - What happens to you in this situation is quite fun too. You either work the rest of your life in a prison camp if you're lucky I guess, or if you are unlucky they bring you to a pigs farm, put a bullet in your head, if you are lucky, and you become a pig lunch. You're probably gonna be thrown to the pigs alive if you aren't. - There are no luxury places or resorts for the masses. No luxury restaurants, hotels or stuff. - Too Westernized stuff like haircuts, jeans, leather jackets and such a banned and illegal. - Police is never wrong. Court is never wrong. There is zero control over their decisions, all it takes for a person to be falsely acused of something is the cousin of an important person wanting that to happen.
