Interesting. Trump usually returns salutes to US military personnel. According to this CNN article, this is what happened. Trump starts to shake hands with those in the room. Upon encountering North Korean Gen. No Kwang Chol, who was in full uniform, Trump first extends his hand, to which the general responds with a salute. Trump then salutes back, extends his hand again and the two men shake hands. There are worse things that can happen. Is such propaganda going to make the Kim regime more powerful?
How convenient , the NY attorney general files a lawsuit against the Trump Foundation on the very same day of the the Inspector General's report and on Trumps Birthday nonetheless. Typical government losers. This whole thing is not only political and biased , it’s disgusting, What I want to know is who is going to put a stop to this crap?
Obama did it because he is Muslim and never wanted to admit that he was. Trump just did because at first he wanted to shake his hand but then that dude saluted him bso he did too...
Pretty sad arresting and jailing Manafort for this Trump witch hunt while Loretta Lynch , Jim Comey and Hilary all get off. The DOJ dropped the charges 12 years ago and now they opened it up again? Why now? I hope a judge throws it out! This whole thing is a frame up!
You have no clue about the customs of a salutes, do you? Bowing is a submissive act. Returning a salute is not.
It's the one thing I don't get about NFL players kneeling for an anthem. Since when is taking a knee an act of defiance?
During the national anthem, everyone is asked to stand (exception to those unable to do so). Not standing is a sign of disrespect. Kneeling is an intentional act of defiance for that very reason.
I don't know how almost any folks in any other part of the world observe their countries' national anthems. I do know that kneeling, though, is generally considered a gesture of supplication, rather than one of defiance.
Jimmy Dore did a video with a marine I think it was who Kapernick came to for the idea of kneeling. He wanted to remain respectful whilst still being able to make his point.
