Well next year there should be at least a couple thousand off that list. Then it's back to waiting for the 99% renewal rate to drop or for when you finally get through. Maybe fortune will be on your side, and another expansion will get approved sometime soon.
I am accepting orders to San Diego. Going to be a minimum 2 years before I can get out of the Corps if I choose to leave. Still biding my time.
It’s worth noting that the Galaxy will probably easily have a higher average attendance then LAFC. Given how substantially discounted from face value my season tickets are, it wouldn’t shock me if the path to revenue maximization was more group sales and less season seats. The galaxy mo has always been about revenue maximization.
In spite of DC United's horrible leadership, they have managed ~10K season ticket holders. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-smallest-crowds-in-mls-history-in-same-week/
MLS really should have a minimum capacity requirement for one off matches IMO. I can't believe they will allow a game at a sub 5k facility.
FC Cincinnati update has season tickets now at 17,000+ Big thing is if MLS announcement or not affects this number significantly. Season tickets in the past have been offered at pro rated rates up to the half way point of the season. The first home match is on 31st, which is right around when many expect this expansion saga to hopefully be settled.
https://www.twincities.com/2018/03/...sonal-approach-in-pursuit-of-darwin-quintero/ Tucked away in all that is a statement from CEO Chris Wright that season tickets numbers have passed the 13,000 mark.
Somewhat interesting development. Apparently Portland is moving their season ticket renewals earlier this year. I just got my renewal e-mail, and the deadline to renew is the end of July.
From Minnesota United's website: I purchased my season tickets for Allianz Field on Wednesday...Section 4 (behind the goal), Row 14. It's filling up fast.

I would think they would be considering selling those 13k which would put season tickets at around 50k and opening up more of the stadium for every game. I know they have to keep demand higher than supply.
Bump Crew co-owner Dr. Pete Edwards was quoted thusly in Columbus Business First: Season ticket sales have been - and continue to be - a long, hard slog for the Crew. But the 10K threshold is fairly important, both symbolically and financially. "Goal 10K" was a (failed) initiative launched by the Crew back in 2011 (two ownership groups ago). Despite lackluster attendance for much of last year, the Crew actually cracked 9K in season tickets, which I believe was a club record. Of course, the new stadium doesn't come online until next year, so strong growth going into 2020 (after what was a miserable 2019 campaign) is a good sign that numbers for 2021 will spike substantially; a new stadium, in a great location, should pull in a lot of fans. Last year, Bezbatchenko admitted that the club's season ticket base needs to grow dramatically over the next few years. Sounds like they're on rack to meet at least their minimum goal for 2020. I'm no expert, but I think a decent W-L record (especially at home) wouldn't hurt that effort one little bit.
Atlanta had about 36,000 last season according to articles in the AJC. Unsure how this season's price increase has affected that number.
