They didn't for the same reason the SNP voted against the customs union... because, despite bleating about May's 'red lines' for years, these people have their OWN red lines.
Depends what you mean by 'the meeja'. The serious media have... the beeb, C4, ITV, etc.... even Sky It's just that it hasn't made any difference to May and her cohort of nutters. It's not fair to blame the meeja for... well, reality.
Agreed! I think she is not this stupid. If she did get involved I think she would risk the entire monarchy.
What would make most sense is to have run off preferential voting, including revocation In the end you have to vote for something - not against everything
Given the vote results in Scotland, I’d imagine they view anything short of Remain as helping the Independence vote... Didn’t SNP abstain from all the votes yesterday?
Yeah - seems to be the theory on both sides e.g. Maybot is apparently worried that a soft Brexit makes it too easy for Scotland to leave
This is the cup of cold sick that the EU 27 will throw in the no deal party It is obvious. Why will the EU27 start trade negotiations with a bad actor? 1113078126203035648 is not a valid tweet id
??? Not sure how that's supposed to work Whether we leave or stay it's next to impossible for them to leave anyway for similar reasons to the ones we're having leaving the EU... times about 10.
Exactly. This was a good thread on the subject. Dear Parliamentarians,You will be debating today on a number of issues and from time to time "implement the result" and "respect democracy" will be said. Since there seems to be some confusion around these terms, I've written this helpful guide.— Steve Analyst (@EmporersNewC) April 1, 2019
And let's not forget that one of the main arguments put forward by the Brexit supporters was for the sovereignty of Parliament.
The @BorisJohnson article got a lot of responses today, unfortunately I can't seem to see any from the millions of people he claims to speak for.(1) #RevokeArticle50 pic.twitter.com/NKmqEHFHF9— Martyn (@MartynBattle) April 2, 2019

Cabinet is getting liquored up while they wait for May to finish her speech. 1113114141533835264 is not a valid tweet id The thought is that some of her red lines are becoming a little more pink and perhaps a bit more dash like.
A50 extension request coming to allow talks with Corbyn to come to a common future relationship (which she should have done as soon as she lost her majority). Failing an agreement, options will be put to the house. Likely to get the same results as the indicative votesto start with. Appears to pretty much rule out no deal, but that assumes the Commons can actually agree on something.
FFS. May's brilliant plan is to seek another article 50 extension. BREAKING: In statement from Downing St, PM says she will seek further extension to Article 50— Paul Brand (@PaulBrandITV) April 2, 2019 Just freaking revoke it and negotiate the exit without the artificial deadline.
So.. If you're Corbyn, what do you do at this point? Do you actually negotiate with her, or do you dig your heels in and demand a snap election?
If there's no agreement, the media will blame him for it all. Might as well hold out for Labour's proposal.
