I will never forget the image of Brussels showing up for the Brexit meetings with a stack of binders, while London has a thin folder, containing a few pages of bullet points. That is ... so British.

We've operated as a country without a written constitution for several hundred years. We're used to 'winging it'.

Having said that it's typical of the sort of idiotic false equivalency used as a rhetorical device from many people, on ALL sides of the political debate. It's what passes as 'insight' now, unfortunately
