here's to RSL http://rsldeuce.blogspot.com/ making MLS a soft drink's advertising nightmare. Who knows we could be SoBe or that new stuff, Green Card, although if 1836 didn't make I doubt that AEG will go for a soft drink that claims to hydrate illegal aliens, but hey I thought Red Bull New York was a joke at first. My opinion-RC would make for a great sponsor, screw Coke and Pepsi.
Re: soft drink league Xango works for me. Nice simple white logo on the home jersey. Just how it should be. Xango is a cool enough name, on par with Vodofone, O2 (Arsenal's old sponsor) etc. Energy/Sports drinks are a big market right now - and with Red Bull already in this market it seems natural that its competitors would want a piece of the action. Mountain Dew as its "AMP" energy drink (which is my favorite of them, incidentally), plus various others as you mentioned. Let's just hope no-one gets "Tab" Energy Drink pink jerseys
Re: soft drink league I'm hoping we have a simple sponsor look like theirs. I just hope Landry's or Gallery Furinture isn't on there, it needs to be something national or some people in the area will view the team as a joke. There are so many big companies in Houston, including AIG, Man U's sponsor... I wouldn't mind sharing a jersey sponsor with them. The other one I though would be nice and simple is Amegy Bank.
Re: soft drink league Agreed. While I like Gallery Furniture's support, local shirt sponsorship is for the A-League and below. We need a national sponsor.

I don't really care who it is. If they pay 1-1.25 mil/per then it doesn't really matter. I do think that the RSL jersey looks nice with Xango on there, and that's what we should be concerned with. Something nice and simple. White on both the Dynamo Orange and Space City Blue would look great.
Rikker, you are truly an original. I tried my Googles for Simeans and this is what it came up with. http://www.cousinconnect.com/rss/a/0/s/SIMEANS Tears in Eyes, lmfao
