    National team news of today:

Klinsmann said, he won´t nominate Woerns anymore
after Woerns called him a liar.

    ---
    Youth team news:
Dieter Eilts ( ) can´t use Stefan Kießling (Nürnberg),
Moritz Volz (Fulham), Sacha Riether (Freiburg) and Matthias Lehmann (1860)
at the test match vs. Latvia.

    Here´s the squad he nominated:
Goal: Michael Rensing (Bayern München), René Adler (Bayer 04 Leverkusen)

Defense: Markus Brzenska (Borussia Dortmund), Malik Fatih (Hertha BSC), Lukas Sinkiewicz, Marvin Matip (both1. FC Köln), Patrick Ochs (Eintracht Frankfurt), Christian Schulz (Werder Bremen)

Midfield: Gonzalo Castro (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Karsten Fischer (VfL Wolfsburg), Roberto Hilbert (SpVgg Greuther Fürth), Ioannis Masmanidis (Arminia Bielefeld), Peter Niemeyer (Twente Enschede), Eugen Polanski (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Piotr Trochowski (Hamburger SV)

Forwards: Patrick Helmes (1. FC Köln), David Odonkor (Borussia Dortmund), Nando Rafael (Borussia Mönchengladbach)

I'll tell you what, that is one capable U-21 squad for Germany...some great talent there.

    What about Gomes from Stuttgart?

This is Castro's first call-up for Germany correct?

I'm hope we can see what he can do...

Yes, it´s his first call up.

What surprises me a bit is,
    that Peter Niemeyer was nominated
instead of Alex Meier from Frankfurt.

    But i can´t judge it, because i don´t
    watch the Dutch league.

That Gomez isn´t nominated also surprises me a bit,
but perhaps the test against Latvia is used to test some players.
