Well he does have to "validate" that "double digit" comment he made on Soccer morning the other day. I'm still more interested in hearing about these foreign investors he alluded to. The only one I heard about was a Japanese group and the Scorpions.
Will @TheNetBreaker 5 hHace 5 horasFrisco, TX @StingTrust @Suntimes @NASLBPeterson , not sure how you can have the NASL without the last champions of the old NASL. #bringthesting
Well.. Chicago is a city that MLS is underserving right now... Might even get MLS off its ass and do something about the Fire..
I see Bill Peterson is making the media rounds again. Always entertaining. Of course you have to take everything with a grain of salt, but it is fun to listen to. I am going to go out and buy my Miami tickets for next year as soon as they are available.
Is there a conclusive "Bill Peterson is a bullshitter" thread? If not, can one be started? If there's not enough content for it, can everybody just STFU?
I think talking about the commish discussing new potential nasl teams is a legit conversation for this thread. Don't you?
There was one about meet the new Commissioner, that one can be used I guess. http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/the-commish.1695960/page-3
It's the snarky tone of many towards Peterson which makes these threads a drag. Discussion, of course. Going on a thread to run the commissioner down is not discussion and it's tiresome.
Courtesy of SI: '“We’ll have more teams playing next year than we do this year,” promised Peterson, who confirmed that negotiations have concluded unsuccessfully with a group hoping to bring an NASL team to Los Angeles. Markets like Hartford, the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Miami and Dallas are among those that have been linked with the NASL, as well as additional locations in Southern California and Canada.'
