His running into free space in correct timing, when the ball is at the other part of pitch is big part of Napoli's game. Of course with Insignie incredible lob passing most often to him. Most of us know that. Truth of the matter is its easy(ish) to defend against. And the times he gets in he misses 80% of the time anyway. We don't hate callejon more than we hate the fact he is playing every single game. Some times you just need players who can get past one or two players and do something extraordinary, it is too easy to just defend down Napoli's left side and put literally half a man and an aware goalkeeper to kill callejon's game.
But you have that in Mertens and Lorenzo. You have to have someone like Calejon for the game you are playing. I'm just saying he does much more than his numbers are saying. Today his off the ball movement made second goal possible. If he would on top of that all score more and do 1on1, I'm afraid he would not be playing for Napoli. As our game was shit without Lorenzo I think it would be same without Callejon. The only one who could maybe do similar job is Rog.
