Earlier in the season we beat Benevento 6-0 in a game that is regularly brought up to exemplify Sarri's lack of rotation. Will Sarri feel this pressure and make wholesale changes? Unfortunately Ounas is out with the flu and due to our lack of depth, it looks like Mertens is going to start. Machach is on the bench and from his highlight reel, he looks more versatile than I first thought. He's been at the club for over 3 weeks -- more than Rafinha who got some minutes for Inter yesterday and looked good. Next week's fixture is going to be very important. Fiorentina - Juve on Friday & Napoli - Lazio on Saturday. Sassuolo just bent over for Juve, giving them an big goal difference advantage over us.
It almost looks like Sas did it on purpose, after all that shit with Politano. Sts it almost looks like some of the owners of the clubs enjoy business and backstabbing more than football itself.
Lineups: Benevento bench: Brignoli, Del Pinto, Coda, Viola, Tosca, Gyamfi, Memushaj, Diabate, Parigini, Billong, Iemmello, Lombardi. Napoli bench: Rafael, Sepe, Maggio, Zielinski, Chiriches, Machach, Rog, Diawara, Tonelli
Mertens and insigne are mostly great, Hamsik is inconsistent and Callejon is very sitiuational. I'm just wondering why we make Benevento look so good
The only time he'll change it is in a difficult opening away match in the champions league because fck logic
Yeah, I was disappointed when I first saw the lineup. Sarri should of mixed in the bench players with the regulars today. Btw, I was impressed with what I seen from Udinese's Andrija Balić. He reminded me of Modric when he came on against Milan today. Maybe we can get him to rot on our bench
