    I agree.

But I would love to see Lozano for Callejon.

I don’t think James’ value will go up given his age and our priority is for Milik to be benched.

The rumor is 45 mil.... Though since Atletico is a rival team who just got paid big money they might charge them more. Perhaps 65 mil.

I want him. But you know ADL. He cares about financial benefit. Not willing to even risk a little.

Looks like the players are putting pressure on management to reinforce via public comments. First Mertens, now Insigne.

Sportmediaset is reporting that Icardi is giving Juve till August 10th to complete a transfer. They have already agreed personal terms. If they can't find an agreement with Inter, he will then push for the Napoli transfer.

Re-listening to ADL's interview from yesterday where he complains about Real giving Bayern the option to buy, but not Napoli. I know he's hamming it up as a tactic, but it's embarrassing and stupid. From Real's perspective they have every right to cash in on a player who is essentially a depreciating asset.

Also while Giuntoli is dicking around on the James & Icardi front, Roma have quietly reinforced their midfield. Veretout would have been an excellent squad player and someone who would fit right in. And now they are pressing for Almendra.

Roma is signing so many new players.... With a new coach that has not coached in Serie A before.... Its either going to go well or they are going to spend 6 months figuring out how to play as a team.

The difference now is that they have DS who actually knows the league and who is good at his job

We bought Roma's best defender who is in his prime at the age of 28 for 15million and a 21 year who was hardly trusted by the last 2 coaches of Napoli. We've already strengthened our right back position. Madrid can either gives James to us on loan with option to buy, keep him on the bench or they can sell him to a direct rival

Roma needs to buy .. They've lost every leader in the dressing room (Manolas, De Rossi and Totti is out of the club). New coach, new director of spot, literally a new backline and goalie. Best part is none of the players have ever played together.

They're headed in the right direction, but they can't afford to keep making so many drastic changes to the team. It seems every year they're hitting the reset button. They will fight with Milan for 4th.

We will fight with Juventus and Inter for top 3.

If Icardi goes to Juve ADL will not drop big money. It would be pointless.

You do realize we can still spend money to get further in the Champions League which also increases our revenue and reputation. We're gonna be in pot 2 this year so it SHOULD******************************************** be easier even though it feels we get the toughest group every year

I’m just looking it from Adl’s perspective the last time we brought in big players in one off season was when we sold Cavani.

    People forget that:

    1. You need to have high revenue in order to spend big because of FFP
    2. We rake in a fraction of Juve does
    3. We have to sell to buy
    4. We have a nice chunk of change left over from deals in past years. At most this can get us one major signing.

ADL stated yesterday that he wants James on loan because this will give us the possibility to BUY one other fuoriclasse (either Icardi or Pepe)

You're 100% right about that, but we are in a position with Ancelotti where we can push on to be where Atletico Madrid is regarded. Not part of the elite but in a bracket just outside of it. Right now I think we're at Roma's level which is the group under what Atletico is.

The only way we can change that isn't through how we do domestically but how we do in Europe. Juventus has double the amount of scudetti as Milan yet there are still pockets of groups that consider Milan to be the most successful Italian team as they have a little over tripple the amount of Champions League trophies.

Not even saying we need to win the Champions League because as @indestructible said the elite clubs have massive revenues which we only rake in a fraction. Raising our reputation to be a consistent knockout level team in the UCL and even sneaking in a run to the quarters or semi's bring in more exposure and thus better tv deals for the league as the league will be more highly regarded, as well as shirt sponsors.

Napoli isn't a small city, the potential for us as a club is certainly there.

Trippier to Atletico means the end to the Hysaj rumors.

At the same time, Spurs are rumored to be interested in Hysaj now

2mil loan with 13mil obligation to buy for Rog.This allows us to buy Elmas for 16mil.

Many loans with obligation only leads me to believe that we will bringing in a player on loan with obligation/option...

Between Rog(13m), Grassi and Sepe(11m) and Inglese (13m) we have 37mil already coming in next year.
