Cavani isn't close to Higuain in terms of build up play, he's more of a true poacher with an incredible eye for goal. But Higuain is a much better fit simply because he offers more than just being a poacher, as he links up with our midfield and wing so well. But if Higuain leaving is inevitable, I'd take that swap deal (with money on top ofc).

I think if we learned anything from Sarris first year, he wants the squad ready by the time Dimaro rolls around, realistic or not. I also think Sarri played Lopez over Grassi to boost Lopez's transfer value, which has increased from where we bought him at. Hopefully he goes to Espanyol, he's not the kind of midfielder Sarri needs.
We might replace higuain with Kalinic haha. He had a good first half of the season, but what warrants replacing higuain with an average striker like him lol. He isn't anything special, not great in build up play but decent as a poacher. I really hope this isn't true.
It's transfer fantasies, only focus on what we know about Sarri and what he expected out of the players his first year. If Higuain leaves, we will probably keep Gabbiadini and have him take over or try to bring back Cavani or something. If you have all that money from a Higuain transfer and the best you do is Kalinic, which Giuntoli has not proven to be a complete idiot, than Giuntoli would be a complete idiot. It's Bigon-esque. He's gotten most transfers right in my opinion. Allan & Hysaj... Also keeping Jorginho & K2 when they were linked away from Napoli. I don't think Chalobah was a bad player from the time he got, but we were fighting for a scudetto this season and it wasn't the right place for him to develop. Grassi probably did not play because of trying to get Lopez some transfer value.

Sassuolo have to prepare for Europe. El Kaddouri and Valdifiori did well in Europa for us. I could see the latter going to Sassuolo and doing well... they really lack that regista in their side... so send him to Sassuolo with money for Vrsaljko
