    CyphaPSU, where have you been? Read some of the other, newer threads. Supposedly the SLC MLS owner has narrowed the list to four names (sorry no GOP names).

    There is a new poll on iloveutahsoccer.com with five names instead of four.

    Salt Lake Highlanders
    Real Salt lake - RSL
    Alliance SL
    Utah United
    Salt Lake Front

    Highlanders is way out in front with Alliance a distant second.
    I'm just glad "Glory" is no where to be found. :)

    iloveutahsoccer.com is a bonafied SLCMLS website. Maybe this is a legit poll?

    Alliance SLC was one of the names the Supporters Club forwarded to them. We also said to dump glory. Looks like they listened and modified it a bit. Or maybe not.

    I don't think so, the poll is not put together very well. It doesn't record who has voted, so anybody could go on there and vote for whichever as many times as they want. Go ahead and try it, you can vote for Utah United (if you so desire) 454,823 times.

    It doesn't hve to restrict revotes to be legit. Look at the MLS Goal of the Week. And who siad theyre using this for anything other than to keep us amused?

    The name the team poll on mlsnet.com was just to keep people busy.

    iloveutahsoccer.com is run by the FO. It's a spinoff of asking for an applause poll that the econ. dev. meeting.

    I doubt the results of the poll are binding.

    Maybe in the end Mrs. Howes will name the team too ;)

    Well after that Champions League fiasco match yesterday, maybe they will now call the SLC team Bayer Salt Lake or maybe Salt Lake Leverkusen.
