It feels like Chelsea have came down a lot since Jose's last season. Any other clubs would probably have benched him for the season.

Sarri leaves at the end of this season. The problem with Chelsea reminds of Bill Parcell's comments about coaching with some GMs. They want you to cook with no input on the ingredients.

The coach has no power and is there to follow the owner and DoF orders.

I was hoping Sarri stayed long enough for Kante to be annoyed at playing 8 and put in a transfer request.

Rodgers on his way to Leicester. Think it's a good fit. Good base of players for him to work with like Maddison, Ndidi, Tielemans, Gray, Chilwell, and Maguire.

Maybe Stevie G and Rangers will actually have a shot at the title now.

We need to get Ndidi out of there. Rescue him to play next to Ander and eventually replace him when Garner becomes the second coming of Carrick.

    Who, Garner or Ndidi?

I can answer both! (slow day at work)

Garner - he's a good player, but this is mostly from Ole's rating of him.

Ndidi is a different matter though. He's poised to be a really really good player. He's very fast, he's got bags of energy and he puts in a lot of tackles and pressures every game. However, unlike a lot of players like that, he's not useless on the ball. He's a good passer, even at range and he's showing bit by bit, more of his ability to play quickly. I think with the right manager, he'll be a damn good midfielder. He has no weaknesses. Maybe you could say he's not elite at breaking the press, but his one touch passing is really good for a 22yo midfielder. If he gets going there aren't many CMs who will catch him.

This is fortunately a good market for CMs.

There are a bunch of guys at non-destination clubs at the right age to be plucked.

Ndidi, Hojberg and the guy from Fulham being just 3 examples in the league.

It's verbatim what Ole said about him. They have similar passing ranges, but Garner is much more mobile and a better tackler than Carrick ever was.

Longstaff is impressive for someone fresh from the academy. He's got some passing range and is a hard worker. Seems smart too. Reminds me a little bit of Fletcher.

You're comparing him favourably to Carrick. And what has being effeminate got to do with anything, White Power Bill?

Vinicius missed three sitters. If he keeps going like this for the next decade, the kid is going to score left and right. He always is in the right place.

Poor defending from Alderweireld lets Pedro in and he puts it through Lloris legs. Chelski up against Spuds.

City now score too, so just Spurs dropping points atm.

    Trippier's OG was insane!

    So many bad things:
He made a blind pass to his gk
He could have played it outside the goal
He never looked for Lloris having checked for Willian
He has zero peripheral vision otherwise even without looking he could have noticed the big guy in orange coming for the ball.

Alexander-Arnold had a hat-trick of assists today. Kid has a great cross on him.
