Haven't won a PL game this season. Joe Allen is not their problem. It has been no goal chances created, Shawcross very poor, and subpar keeping with their #1 hurt.
geoff cameron bossing the midfield..kind of! he is a one man pressing crew. he's doing very well finding space, working on defense and pushing forward only to have joe allen o'le his way into one mistake after another, yet continues to get praise. life is stupid.
Stoke really really needed that point. Probably lucky in the end, but they have had some poor luck this season and they were bound to get a rub of the green at some point. Keeper had a wordly, but a team like SCFC need a top shelf keeper to get them a point occasionally. Cameron and Whelan have at least made them competitive in the midfield.
Geoff! has some shake and bake. Several times he was a clever step, head drop, shoulder move, and he was away from 2 or 3 defenders. Very subtle yet effective movements that our entire US midfield needs to take notice of, particularly MB who can't buy time on the dribble.
I think he can and should play the 6 for us if Kitchen or Williams aren't the right fit. We have more quality depth at CB than Defensive midfield.
