With the first few games, i wasn't really thrilled to see JVR's play...but since Randy gave him some words of motivation, he's responded in a great way. Luke is playing about 20 min a game in PHI, but i think we won that trade provided JVR doesn't get injured again.

I'm really happy for Kadri and Farattin These kids have played very well and are producing. Grabo has been sub par in my opinion....we need him to contribute more offensively and be more of a leader on the ice. At his price tag...he needs to score.

I sort of feel bad for Garbo because he is put into a checking role right now with McClement and Kulimen, they are always playing the other teams top lines but I do agree he needs to be putting up little more production wise, same goes for Dion who has as many points as Mark Fraser.

Kessel scores the winner as the Leafs beat the Jets 3-2 and now would be a nice way to end the road trip with beating the Habs again in Montreal

Nice to see Phil finally score and get the monkey off his back!! Now the media can stop with the trade reports.

The atmosphere was truly amazing last night...wish more arenas were as vocal and enthused. We have to give the Leafs some credit for their work ethic thus far this season. The skill set may not be on par with other teams, but we make up for it with determination. This is a completely different team then what we saw with Ron. I just hope Randy utilizes the 4th line more....as the season progresses, you're going to need that line to play minutes so your top players can rest.

Leafs sweep the road trip with a huge 6-0 win over the Habs.

^ It was a beauty of a game...regardless of the score line....the fights and toughness was great to see. Haven't seen a Leafs-Habs game with that much emotion in quite some time.

Flyers tonight...return of Luke. We may hear a few boos lol

Nice little win tonight - love when we beat Philly like that.

Yeah, fair play to Scrivens who came in after Reimier got hurt and shut things down on that 5 minute PP. Hope James isn't out for too much time as I have little faith in Scrivens shouldering the load for extended period of time.

Ben handled himself quite well last night. He made some really great saves and as Adam mentioned above...that 5 min PP could of really turned the game around.

Brian got a up close and personal look at the team he always envisioned...thanks to his loyalty with Ron, it cost him his job.

Not that this wasn't Burke's vision - but I'm pretty sure the reasons he was fired are not going to see the light of day.

^ I'm just glad the young kids like Kadri, Frattin, Kostka, Frazer, Holzer are getting a chance to play. What's upsetting is having Komo not playing while taking up 4.5m on the cap. He has one more year left on this contract...need to buy him out this summer.

An abysmal performance last night from everyone. Was it complacency...players injured/missing? Randy looked furious on the bench last night....hopefully he can motivate them before the Sens game on Saturday. No Spezza or Karlsson...need the 2 points.

Yeah, never seen so many icing's in one period than the 1st last night which shows our passing was poor and was pretty much like that the whole game, only minor positive is Ben didn't look too bad in goal (though 2nd goal was poor).

The Sens missing a lot of top guys, hope we can take advantage of it. If we want to hope to fight for a playoff spot need to be ahead of the Sens.

We'll we go the 2 point and a shutout for Ben....McLaren got his first goal as a Leaf....Bozak with another redirected goal....was scared that he kicked it in again.

We got FLA and TB coming up...maybe Reimer can go to FLA and get some sun on his MCL...just needs to bring 50 proof as he's so white lol

Nice little shutout streak for Scrivens at 120+ minutes.

Back to back 3-0 wins, and we're looking pretty good.

    Tampa tonight.

Would be nice to do the Florida sweep tonight, really doing a good job of beating these teams who are playing poor and nice to see scoring from all around though would be nice to see Garbo/Kluimen put up some numbers soon.

Grabbo looks snakebit - he's getting to good spots on the ice, but no luck with the finishing.

Going to be a tough match up for Grabo/Kulie to try and contain St. Louis/Stamkos tonight...they have 21 points in 15 games.... unbelievable.

Not the best of games from Ben...let in a couple really soft goals. Guess that's going to happen in back to back games in such a condensed schedule. Stamkos/St. Louis are literally like Lightning...they're so fast out there.

We play BUF on Thursday....hopefully, the players get a day off today to rest.

Well can't expect Ben to keep getting shutouts, he was playing more to his level last night, he just needs to hold the fort until Reimier comes back though Nonis was saying they are still looking into a veteran goalie.

James and Lupul back on the ice skating...not with the team, but on their own. Doesn't look like they will be back for at least another week at best.

Good win again tonight for the Leafs, get the home record back to a respectful state and JVR keeps racking up the goals.

Beauty of a goal by Dion on the one timer and great to see JVR continue to score. Franson has been fantastic this year....what a difference from last year. Good for him.

OTT reducing tickets by twenty percent for Leaf games...they don't like when we boo Alfie.

Ben made a costly mistake with 25 seconds left...froze the puck when he should of released it. OTT with a late goal to take the 2 points.

Thought the Leafs played sloppy but disappointing to not come away with at least a point considering how the game turned out. Yeah Ben's poor rebound control cost us 2 goals last night.
