Thanks for posting this. Being reminded how much gifted younger talent we have percolating up the youth ranks is a necessary antidote to all that despair the senior USMNT inflicted upon us.
Too bad our brain dead former coach couldn't have called these guys up. I don't think they could've done much worse than Bradley and Gonzalez.
I certainly don't want to dissuade this line of thinking, but 5-10 years ago weren't we saying the same thing about that generation of talent? It just seems so difficult to tell with youth teams, especially at the U-17 level. Rep to anyone who convinces me that this generation really is superior!
Almost yes..... it didn't look as dangerously talented as this one does, but it was impressive [however, not as impressive as that long ago wave which young Landon Donovan was a part of].... I believe that the lack of development of that young talent, from the national and club sides, is one reason why there is now so much recognition of how the USSF / ChicagoHouse/ MLS need to have that deep and honest conversation as to what needs to be done, and done fast, to address everything that led to the past three years of failure.Because, at the Senior level [and here I include the U23/Olympic sides] it has become a fiasco.
