I'm actually looking to go to Hawaii in February. I might have to synchronize my trip with these games.
I checked a little more - Sapporo is a J-League team, Iwaki instead is a minor league one. Still, I think it would be worth it seeing these games if you are in the area.
If I go, I will have to check if @THOMA GOL is still around there. The last time (and only time) I met him was probably a dozen years ago in South Carolina, when both our clubs (he is a Crew supporter) were playing in the Charleston Cup and we just happened to run across each other while driving through town and then later saw each other in the stands and began chatting about the coincidence. Life is crazy.
First Petke, then Dax, now Kljestan, to say that NYRB front office doesn't give a f@ck about its supporters is an euphemism.
While I do think that firing Petke was dumb, the club has bet that they could replace the other 2 after getting their best. They bet that they could do without Dax, save money and be fine. They were. In fact, they were a single blown chance from BWP (he blew 3 of them) from knocking off Toronto. With Kljestan turning 33(?) this year, they are betting that one of the South Americans they brought in will provide more going forward, while also getting a young CB in Tommy Redding and Carlos Rivas ... and they absolutely need help at CB. I applaud them for not being a prisoner to the past. Sentimentality does not win games.
OK - I'll take this explanation... still, I don't think the supporters are particularly happy... OTOH, we are still prisoners of Olsen...
I have frequently ripped the Bengals for not getting rid of Marvin Lewis as head coach, after failing to win playoff games year after year after year. Well, at least Marvin Lewis' teams have generally been competitive year after year (with such a lower percentage of NFL teams making the playoffs than has been the case with MLS). So that should inform you of what I think about the Olsen situation.

That's awesome of him. $15 million might be more than our entire payroll and transfer fees (Arriola, etc.). james
So after the Carolina Railhawks became FC Carolina, Harrisburg City Islanders became FC Penn. How sad....
Adds a modicum of class and you don't have to be an ultra-keen observer of the American situation to see class is in short supply lately. The teams will naturally adopt additional nicknames as with all teams -the colors of their jerseys, the predominate industry in their locale etc. It will just get more confusing to the casual observer to figure who is who. The sad part maybe 1 team of every 20 will be known foremost. for actually playing the game well. We only buy the sizzle, the steak is inconsequential
