Only when it's cold out or raining. Any other days, they train outside: [Enlarge] (Fieldhouse is bottom left, regular practice field is bottom right.)
Not sure if this has been posted in here but its pretty interesting. As stated they are looking for land. http://www.theaircanadacentre.com/assets/default/Practice%20Facility.pdf
Toronto just broke ground on their new training facility/academy yesterday: http://www.torontofc.ca/news/2011/10/downsview-project-earns-national-attention
The broke ground in May on a new training field that is 5 min down the street from the stadium... America First Field (it's a local credit union that paid for the naming rights). Opens in Spring 2012.
Hmm. The SKC team offices (for now) and the Swope Park training facility are in Missouri, while LSP is in Kansas. I bet the accountants have fun keeping the taxes straight, especially the KCMO earnings tax.
Worth reposting: Linda Carver, America First CU board chair gave a great speech at the groundbreaking for the new training ground.
