Seriously, there is someone calling for pro-rel in hockey: http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showthread.php?t=1733219
Same dumbass pie-in-the-sky b.s. Same attempted injection of rational thought into the discussion. Same intractable illogical points of view backed by nothing more than nerderections.
Well, the CHL has been relegated to the dustbin of history (again). Does that count? http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-p...as-central-hockey-league-folds-203348699.html
seems that both the sounders and timbers are making an announcement next tuesday Merritt Paulson @MerrittPaulson · Oct 7 Press conference set at 11am...a week from today. Will be fun to discuss details. Big impact for team. #RCTID Follow Ben Jata@Ben_Jata Seattle Sounders hosting an "unprecedented event regarding the future of the club" on October 14. #MLS

Here's the article from the USL site. http://uslpro.uslsoccer.com/scripts/runisa.dll?M2:gp::72013+L3/Display+E+NDX+NDX+841998
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that the first article on USLPro's website regarding MLS 2 teams for 2015? I don't recall reading announcements for FC Montreal or Real Monarchs on there.
I'm not sure that is true. 1975 Trust isn't partial ownership of the team. It is an increased involvement in the "direction" of the club, plus a lot of discounts. Basically an exclusive members' club for T2 fans. If the rumors are true, the Sounders are going to be selling shares of the USL team to fans. I'd imagine the benefits will be similar to what 1975 Trust, but with the added benefit of "ownership".
20% fan ownership for S2.. And dear god, I hope that white shield with S2 on it really isn't their crest... http://www.soundersfc.com/post/2014/10/14/sounders-fc-unveils-second-team-sounders-fc-2
yeah, really! what the hell is that!? it almost makes the MLSNext logo look good, if such a thing were possible. whatsup with this trend of new logos that look like they were designed in 60 seconds or less?
