    Ok -- I'm addicted. I know I said I wouldn't start one of these, but I can't help myself. I can't guarantee I'll be able to update this regularly, but I'll at least get things started. Full list to follow shortly.

    That was quick, damn. A few months ago he's runner-up for the Hermann and starring for the second best team in college soccer and he can't even stick on what appears to be the worst team in MLS.

    Are you allowed to cut an injured player? That's usually a no-no in all sports around the world.

    Yeah, but that article says that we're "loaded in the mid-field" and "in need of a speedy striker". Uh. . . I didn't realize that Herculez, Donovan, and Ngwenya were that slow. . .

    No where in the article does it say we need a speedy striker, rather;

    Big difference.

    Ok Ok, true dat. .

    But it DID say we were loaded in the midfield, and THAT is a lie.

    I thought they waived Antonio Martinez. I saw Ochoa this Monday at the reserve game.

    even if Ochoa was at Monday's reserve game, he still could have been waived on Tuesday.

    I'm sorry I don't have a better link than wikipedia, but I did read (I think in an earlier MLSnet story today, or in an AP story about the JOB signing) today that Chivas USA has waived Jesús Ochoa.

    A look at the current Chivas USA roster
    http://chivas.usa.mlsnet.com/MLS/players/roster.jsp?club=cdc
    shows both John O'Brien (#11) and Tim Regan (#24), but neither Jesús Ochoa nor Antonio Martínez are listed.

    Chivas USA looks to be focused on building a winning team and not really caring about the nationality or ethnicity of its players (kinda just like ever other MLS team, me thinks).

    I believe that Thiago fills LA's final open roster spot (mlsnet.com still lists Superdraft pick GK-Chris Dunsheath on the roster who I believe is still in college and does not graduate until later this year - he never was in LA's pre-season camp and never really on their roster - there was discussion that he might trial with Crystal Palace).

    Cornell Glen trade from Rapids to Galaxy is official (for a 2007 3rd Round Superdraft pick). Naldo finally waived to create Glen's roster spot.
