Ok -- I'm addicted. I know I said I wouldn't start one of these, but I can't help myself. I can't guarantee I'll be able to update this regularly, but I'll at least get things started. Full list to follow shortly.
Outbound Salt Lake: Jeff Rowland (waived) Inbound Chivas USA: John O'Brien (ADO Den Haag - Netherlands) Colorado: Aitor Karanka (Athletic Club - Spain) Columbus: Leonard Bisaku (Posusje - Bosnia and Herzegovina) Salt Lake: Adam Acosta (free agent)
That was quick, damn. A few months ago he's runner-up for the Hermann and starring for the second best team in college soccer and he can't even stick on what appears to be the worst team in MLS.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=363897&root=mls&cc=5901 One of a variety of sources reporting Thiago Anderson de Souza will join the Galaxy, last played for Borussia Dortmund.
Yeah, but that article says that we're "loaded in the mid-field" and "in need of a speedy striker". Uh. . . I didn't realize that Herculez, Donovan, and Ngwenya were that slow. . .
Outbound Chivas USA: Jesús_Ochoa (Waived to make roster room for John O'Brien) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesús_Ochoa
I thought they waived Antonio Martinez. I saw Ochoa this Monday at the reserve game. -edit- Chivas USA signs defender Tim Regan
Fidlerre is reporting the Crew have signed a Croat - Leonard Bisaku, whom I've never heard of. http://www.huntparkinsider.com/news/040506_news.html Apparently Sigi Schmidt saw Brandon Moss's performance on Saturday too, as Bisaku is a DMC.
even if Ochoa was at Monday's reserve game, he still could have been waived on Tuesday. I'm sorry I don't have a better link than wikipedia, but I did read (I think in an earlier MLSnet story today, or in an AP story about the JOB signing) today that Chivas USA has waived Jesús Ochoa. A look at the current Chivas USA roster http://chivas.usa.mlsnet.com/MLS/players/roster.jsp?club=cdc shows both John O'Brien (#11) and Tim Regan (#24), but neither Jesús Ochoa nor Antonio Martínez are listed. Chivas USA looks to be focused on building a winning team and not really caring about the nationality or ethnicity of its players (kinda just like ever other MLS team, me thinks).
Outbound Chivas USA: Antonio Martínez (waived) Jesús Ochoa (waived) Salt Lake: Jeff Rowland (waived) Inbound Chivas USA: John O'Brien (ADO Den Haag - Netherlands) Tim Regan (free agent**) Colorado: Aitor Karanka (Athletic Club - Spain) Columbus: Leonard Bisaku (Posusje - Bosnia and Herzegovina) Los Angeles: Thiago Anderson de Souza (Borussia Dortmund) Salt Lake: Adam Acosta (free agent) **I would think that Chivas would have to give NY something for his waiver rights, but I haven't seen anything.
cornell glen to the galaxy from colorado. maybe just a rumor, but aparently they got rid of naldo and a 3rd round pick. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8055677#post8055677
I believe that Thiago fills LA's final open roster spot (mlsnet.com still lists Superdraft pick GK-Chris Dunsheath on the roster who I believe is still in college and does not graduate until later this year - he never was in LA's pre-season camp and never really on their roster - there was discussion that he might trial with Crystal Palace). Cornell Glen trade from Rapids to Galaxy is official (for a 2007 3rd Round Superdraft pick). Naldo finally waived to create Glen's roster spot. http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=3290694
Outbound Chivas USA: Antonio Martínez (waived) Jesús Ochoa (waived) Colorado: Cornell Glen (trade w/Los Angeles) Los Angeles: Naldo da Conceicao (waived) Salt Lake: Jeff Rowland (waived) Inbound Chivas USA: John O'Brien (ADO Den Haag - Netherlands) Tim Regan (free agent**) Colorado: Aitor Karanka (Athletic Club - Spain) Columbus: Leonard Bisaku (Posusje - Bosnia and Herzegovina) Los Angeles: Thiago Anderson de Souza (Borussia Dortmund) Cornell Glen (trade w/Colorado) Salt Lake: Adam Acosta (free agent) Draft Picks/etc Colorado: 3rd round pick in 2007 MLS SuperDraft (from LA in C. Glen trade) **I would think that Chivas would have to give NY something for his waiver rights, but I haven't seen anything.

Dallas bringing in an Argentine by way of Bulgaria. Man alive -- did we have this much happen after last season started? Outbound Chivas USA: Antonio Martínez (waived) Jesús Ochoa (waived) Colorado: Cornell Glen (trade w/Los Angeles) Los Angeles: Naldo da Conceicao (waived) Salt Lake: Jeff Rowland (waived) Inbound Chivas USA: John O'Brien (ADO Den Haag - Netherlands) Tim Regan (free agent**) Colorado: Aitor Karanka (Athletic Club - Spain) Columbus: Leonard Bisaku (Posusje - Bosnia and Herzegovina) Dallas: Marcos Charras (CSKA - Bulgaria) Los Angeles: Thiago Anderson de Souza (Borussia Dortmund) Cornell Glen (trade w/Colorado) Salt Lake: Adam Acosta (free agent) Draft Picks/etc Colorado: 3rd round pick in 2007 MLS SuperDraft (from LA in C.
