I don't know who you want to win this MLS Cup, since we're no longer in. Personally, I'd hate to see L.A. or Chicago winning, and I'd rather not see Houston champion one more time this soon; everybody else is OK, with a preference to a team that has never one before.
I disagree with the idea/campaign MLS Cup winner is the MLS champion. Chivas v LA games are not super or classic and calling them the superclassico doesn't make it so. I would prefer these teams to not win anything: Seattle, Chicago, LA, and NE.
No LA. No chrome for Beckham. No Seattle. God help us all. No Houston. It hurts me. No Chicago. No neck. Don't really care otherwise. If there's anyone I could stand to see win it, it would be Columbus again, because I prefer the SS holder win both.
OK, I expressed myself in the wrong way, sorry, it's not my language... If I have to say a team (instead than NOT say a team), I'd like to see either C'bus (I think they deserve it) or NE (I think that after all that bad luck in the past, it would be time). Definitively NOT the Galaxy or the Fire, I could tolerate RSL or Chivas or Seattle because they've won no championship / MLS cup so far. I don't dislike Houston anymore (I used to) but 3 times gets too close to DCU record.
Jealously. Steve Nicol consistently not only makes the playoffs but goes to the either the conference finals or the championship game with a team composed largely (well, salarywise at least) of USL Div. II players.
I enjoy seeing NE suffer. them never winning an MLS Cup adds to their suffering. I like them as the Buffalo Bills of the MLS Why would you want to change a good thing? Besides, the only ring Jay Heaps should ever get to wear is his Jonas Brothers Promise Ring. Im torn, because some of their more assholey fans piss me off, and they ruined our season - but if Seattle makes it to the final, that will make the atmosphere awesome for the game and the game will have to be played somewhat faster than Cup games have been lately, and that might keep people tuned in to the game on TV. and I might have more fun in the stadium. It is all about me. I have no problem with CumBlowUs winning, other than the fact that I will probably have to see Crewzers, but they are fun to wave dollar bills and cheeseburgers at ..... No way I want to see LA win, I do not even want them to get past Chivas (who I would not mind winning the whole thing). I would really rather watch eels slowly strip my lower extremities of flesh than see them win.
If I HAD to pick, I'd go with RSL. Otherwise, I'd like to see it cancelled this year on account of mediocrity.
I'd prefer RSL or Chivas to win. I don't dislike Houston but they've won too many times. I don't want a Eastern Conference team to win on general principles.
It's weird this year. I don't seem to care as much, and not just because we're out. I kinda like how Columbus plays so I wouldn't be pissed off if they were to win. I don't want LA to win. I'd like Houston to shred Seattle. I want NE to make it all the way to the final and then lose heartbreakingly. Again.
Forgot about them. They're not a team that enter into my consciousness all that much. I could live with them doing well. I agree w/ FB, that Seattle being in the final would make MLS Cup a spectacular event. Since I'm going to be there, I really should root for that outcome, but I can't do it. I won't do it.
The only reason I would accept Seattle in the Final is if they suffer a crushing defeat at the hands of Real Salt Lake. Oh there would be chalked driveways that night, I can tell you.
