That Santa Clara made the Primeira is really amazing. I spent a year on Sao Miguel island, and they were best of the third division that season. I played (just pickup) in their stadium.
Just saw the Ruidiaz swing and miss at the 6, to open the half. Lol funny. Good thing his team is up 0-3.
Not anymore. Edwards pulls one back. Oh, and that was Sapong on the assist. So 2 goals and an assist so far. Yes, I'm keeping track since the Union fans were merciless in calling him useless last year. Which he was at times, but anything he did they were calling for his head. There could be a cross 10 feet over his head and they'd start screaming at him for not getting to it.
When I tried to go through to purchase, the platform says it is geo-locked and our part of the state cannot subscribe. The team's platform says it is available throughout Washington, but purchasing didn't work. But at $40 a month, I wouldn't do it anyway.
So... what does Edwards have to do to get a card? He’s been cleaning out Lodeiro and Morris/Rodriguez since he came on..
My problem with Hauptman is that he only spends when everyone has already done so. In addition, he doesn't spend on any real ancillary costs unless it benefits him directly and not the fire. That's why FireBank Pitch is not actually a Fire indoor facility, but rather a Fire themed Soccer Facility which is owned by Hauptman and members of his Hedge Fund, not the Fire. If he really hated Bridgeview, he could build a world class training facility almost anywhere in the Chicagoland area. Instead they have two pitches in the parking lot of Toyota Park surrounded by gravel (not asphalt). A motivated owner, might build a main Fire training facility and have 3-4 affiliate youth centers around the area. There were a few years when Chicago had more Players in the Premier League than other US States. He is unwilling to leverage any advantage he has because he isn't guaranteed money back. The most infuriating thing is the lack of a USL team, especially since Milwaukee is an hour away and Madison is 2.5 hours away with no real soccer teams. He could control markets with no teams, that are really close to Chicago, and could draw actual crowds. Instead they had an affiliation with St. Louis which was 5 hours away. A team in Milwaukee/Madison is something other teams wish they could have given the distance away and the population of those cities.
Yeah, and they're in decent shape this year too, which is kind of unexpected, though the league is like a 9 team relegation fight. /Now if only GolTV would finally go under so ESPN or someone could pick up the rights to Liga Nos.
Oh really... Maybe an email to YoutubeTV help desk? Side note.. I really hate that the Sounders haven’t had a real EWA broadcaster since they started.. Even when they had Root, it was generally tape delayed in EWA.
