Yeah, but they assumed that VAR would get them a PK. But since there is a foul call on Castellanos the ball is out of play at that point, even if it is deemed a red it still doesn't turn into a PK. So the fans and players that are mad about the call are mad because they thought it should be a PK. Red doesn't do them any good at that point of the game.
Manotas with the goal for Houston. Dynamo hoping he drives his price up some since apparently they were offered over 8.5 million on the Euro transfer deadline day.
I wonder if a top team offered Beasley a depth player sort of contract, if he'd keep playing. His comments suggest he's tired of losing in Houston and it has weighed on him, impacting his decision to retire.
A good point for NYC with two central defenders, their central attacking midfielder and centre forward all missing. City still has Atlanta at home and finishes the regular season at Philly.
Wish I could find that tweet showing the end of the game in one of those south american first division leagues. Ref doesn't call a PK and afterwards runs to the sidelines, talks to someone, runs back out on the field making a half assed VAR signal, and gives the PK. That'd be fine except that league doesn't have VAR.
Also, when the heck did they get that view of Houston traffic? I was there twice last year and there was certainly a metric crap ton more cars wherever I went anywhere near the city.
Yeah, but most of those folks are leaving the City and heading home, obviously not heading to the Dynamo Game. Wow has that organization really sucked the life out of the Dynamo fanbase......
The owner and top managers are at the game. I'm sure they're proud of how good a job they've done. There are many threads going into excruciating detail on how terrible they all are.
I just commented to Mrs. Ismitje that I hoped Callum Williams would get one more chance to shout FINLEY! in his distinctive accent. I randomly attempt it during MUFC games but I can't match his glorious way of doing it.
Well depending on where they are coming from I'd avoid weekday games like the plague as well (though they are tending to avoid all games like the plague). Think it took about 45 minutes to an hour for me to get to BBVA from the Galleria area (12 miles) for the Open Cup last year. Traffic was grade A ass. Only slightly better than Chicago was when I was there this year. It was supposed to be an hour and fifteen from downtown to SeatGeek. Needless to say I skipped that and ate the ticket cost.
Oooohhh, great play by Bingham to deflect that ball awat from two Rapids players open on the far post.
What was Bingham doing there??? Hunting for plague ridden prairie dogs???? Great play by Smith to deny Ibra a chance at an equalizer And the Galaxy equalize on the ensuing corner
VAR disallowed goal was apparently for Rodriguez interfering with Willis in goal. I have no opinion. Couldn't tell what happened in the stadium and have not seen the video. Haven't seen the Opara penalty shout either. About the only thing I'm sure of is that Gasper should have seen a second yellow.
LAG is not very good..at all. Witness the last season for Zlatan right here if they don't get on that horse.
