You are correct. My goal isn't to make it easier its to create more goals.
I think the new interpretation will impact the game by a .5 goals per game or so.

This U17 Final has all the offense the DCU team didn’t bring to Toronto last night. 1-1 38’, but soooooo many chances both ways.

    Thx,

    Jay!

That is an absolutely MASSIVE increase. I don't think that is realistic at all.

The players already try to time their runs perfectly. They would continue to do so, only the point that marks offside would be moved up about a foot. I don't think that would increase scoring at all, much less provide a sudden 20 percent or so jump.

Anyway, didn't they try to define offside several years ago as visible space between the attacker and defender?

I lasted 5 seconds with that pre-game bit. Twellman is such an insufferable dick.

Your tolerance for being demeaned must be greater than mine, eye candy or not. That's all he seems to do to his PbP partner.

MLSsoccer has been touting LAFC as "unstoppable" and on a roll. Here's the list of teams that have more points in their last 5 games than LAFC (in alphabetical order):

    Atlanta
    DC United
    Montreal
    NYC
    NY Red Bulls
    Philadelphia
    Portland
    RSL
    Seattle

Also, San Jose is equal on points with LAFC over the last 5 games.

Yes, in the last 5 games LAFC is 10th equal in points, out of 24 teams. But LAFC are the ones that are "unstoppable".

I just look, I don't listen. I learned how to tune people out a long time ago. And he is eye candy.

(And he's probably putting him down because he's unhappy with himself being in the closet, or so I assume :whistling:)

Ian Darke: "The fine citizens of the 3252".

Aren't these the "fine citizens" who yelled homophobic slurs on a few occasions? Or was that just the rest of the stadium?

FC Dallas used to have more interesting road uniforms (white jersey with blue hoops and blue shorts). The all-white uniforms look pretty vanilla.

Speaking of bars, I found some gluten-free beer that doesn't taste incredibly disgusting.

(I was diagnosed as Celiac in January and have been searching for gluten-free beer that is drinkable. I've not had much success except with Greens, which is made in Belgium and tastes like normal beer, and now Glutenberg, which is American but isn't disgusting).

looks like the Bruins will sail into the Stanley Cup finals after tonight. They'll have plenty of rest while hoping the St. Louis-San Jose series goes the full 7.

Well, that looked like a horrible foul in the box. The LAFC player must have been shot, given how quickly he went down. I'm shocked he was able to continue. I mean, the Dallas player seriously put a finger on him. How did he survive?

I get that the referee disbelieved him and so didn't call on the trainer, but in so doing he ensured Kaye was in position for the ensuing corner kick rather than off, waiting to be called back on.

A yellow card would have been warranted as well - simulation, delay of game, you pick the reason.
