What do you mean? Plenty of tickets just on Stubhub, and there are dozens of these types of sites now.

    Isn't Stubhub a resale site?

    Yes, "second hand market tickets".

Doesn't that mean that the tickets have been bought?

Yes, but it affects the primary market because you can buy resale tickets for under retail price.

Usually the Red Bulls are given 1,000 seats and they are given some sections in the top deck.

They've not been filling their allocation. There's just a nasty atmosphere on match day when the two teams meet.

Only 2 regular season matchups this year. Could change with expansion/rebalancing of divisions instead of conferences though.

Could have happened for that MLS cup that Chicago won. 50k showed up without the galaxy even in it.

Good looking crowd in NYCFC, they said that every NY Derby has attracted at least 30k.

If LAFC host the final at the Rose Bowl it could easily happen.

In 2011 the galaxy front office released a statement that they have enough ticket demand to sell out the Rose Bowl.

    Then:
1.Why can't they sell out every game in Carson?
2.Why did they leave the Rose bowl?

28,989 in NYCFC...I believe that's the smallest NY Derby to date. this is the first game below 30k. Games in NYRB all sold out, except this years game 20,128.

Edit: It was the smallest crowd, 30,027 in 2018.

    48,047 in 2015
    37,858 in 2016
    33,613 in 2016
    33,697 in 2017
    30,027 in 2018
    30,139 in 2018
    28,989 in 2019

Offcicial #s vs #s looks weird though, this was a very hyped match

I was only talking about the MLS cup final. Regular season at the rose bowl would be an under 20k average.

The answer to the 2nd should be obvious to everyone. Why even ask?

I was just responding to a posters question.

He said that LA had the demand to sell out the Rose Bowl, meaning he thinks that they could fill the Rose Bowl. If true they would be stupid not to play in the Rose Bowl.

Yes I know it's crazy to think they could fill the Rose Bowl every game. He later said he meant if LA played in MLS CUP, still probably wouldn't happen (70-75k yes)

Anytime we can say a non-sell out is 30k or more is still a good thing for MLS. As a rule, anyway.

Neither new York team did much better when they had stars...
