As the old saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." With that we have reached the final match of the 2018 MLS season. You all know the rules. Keep it neutral in the N&A game thread. Also, keep all attendance talk in the attendance thread! This years final will be on over the air Fox. Congrats to the Timbers and Atlanta United for getting this far. With that: MLS Cup FINAL Saturday December 8, 2018 ATL vs. POR 8:00 PM FOX
Diego is coming!WINTER STORM DIEGO IS COMING. #RCTID #MLSCup https://t.co/UlJwc9haHG— Timbers Army (@timbersarmy) December 5, 2018 Which one? I'm not so sure.
ICYMI, Alan Kelly is going to take the whistle for the second time in three years. He joins Baldomero Toledo as the only MLS referee to get that honor.
For the third consecutive year I will be watching MLS Cup from an airport - LAX is the winner this year.
I'll be in the Star Alliance lounge in the International terminal so it won't be a problem. They have a TV room in there that 2 years ago had MLS Cup featured on it and also have a bar that has multiple TV screens.
Hope any visitors brought some warm clothes! Any BS regulars at the Benz let me know and perhaps I can treat you to a beer, or coffee as the weather may dictate. At least in one respect I imagine everyone will be grateful for the dome. Hoping the game plays clean and entertaining for everyone and that it's a fine show for MLS. Those of us in the crowd will do our part.
Good things coming to an end suggests that at some point good things started, As a Rapids fan I’m sure nothing good started this year. Appropriate that the season may end in a winter storm considering that it started with the coldest game on record (anywhere) with the Col-TFC match in Feb. Assuming no delays our plane from Tokyo lands at 12:40 Denver time on Saturday. Plenty of time to get through Customs, drive home, pick up the cat, and find a good American hamburger before kickoff at 6.
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018...ds-victory-log-reunited-atlanta?autoplay=true Has Atlanta said anything about letting in the log for the game?
There's been a fair bit of banter among fans online but I've not seen anything official. Curious about it myself cause there's not a convenient spot for it best I can tell.
And it's fully here. Lubbock, TX with between 4-8" of snow depending on what part of the city you're in. Texas forgot how to Texas.
