I made a statistic about how many minutes, on average, each club has led and trailed so far this season. I consider only the teams of the top divisions in England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain, and only the domestic leagues' games. At the moment, the best leading teams are: Fiorentina (Italy), with an average of 54,7 minutes leading Eibar (Spain) 51,9 minutes Real Madrid (Spain) 49,7 minutes Sporting CP (Portugal) 46,9 minutes Porto (Portugal) 46,1 minutes The teams that trailed the least are more or less the same as above: Real Madrid (Spain), who never trailed Sporting CP (Portugal), who never trailed Angers (France), with an average of 1,9 minutes trailing Fiorentina (Italy) 3 minutes Eibar (Spain) 4 minutes You can find the two full rankings here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1N1_C39UQjAqhzLH3x4HabwL1fEkffCPd2kdaBthxPbU/edit?usp=sharing
Hi there, I was browsing through forum messages looking for a site which offers advanced stats. Found your message, and I think I can actually reccomend you one - there`s a lot of work behind your numbers, and you can have them all by accessing either Soccerkeep.com website, or Soccerstats is good too. Just select the league you are interested in, and then o to Timing tab - you have there all the information you need. Other detailed stats are available too, so it will definatelly ease your work. Do you know any other soccer stats sites, apart from these two?
Hi I know also http://football.hkjc.com/football/statistics/english/centre/DataCentral-leagues.aspx?ci=en-us and http://fcstats.com/ But all those sites have the statistics divided into categories and leagues; I prefer to get the data from the web and use Excel to calculate a good amount of stats for all the leagues together. In this way I can easily make a "ranking" including all the European clubs (from the leagues I am interested in), without having to check or (worse) scrape many different pages from the web.
