With the Twins owners as part of the MUFC ownership group, that does seem the most logical way to connect the dots, but, as @4four4 states, YNK.

 

Target Field is most likely the temp home. Well, it's the most logical. Of course, Goofers aren't always logical.

 

I'm not sure what the Gophers have to do with Target Field though.

 

Just lumping all the Goofer state together. It's a joke, don't read too much into it.

 

Anyone have an opinion on what the early purchase season ticket amount looks like? They will range from 465 to $1350. I'm curious what kind of a per game discount that will end up being if any and whether buying a couple seats now would be worth it. Are larger markets significantly more than that or pretty close?

On an unrelated note... I run a small Bubble Soccer Company in the Minneapolis area (bubblesoccerminnesota.net) and the buzz is still strong about MLS. Minnesota FC had a strong cult following even before the expansion opportunity came along and now that a lot of the media coverage has fallen off since the announcement, There aren't too many events I run that people don't bring it up. Good news for the franchise...can't wait!
