I was asking about your friend the MLS, Arsenal, Milan marketing genius, no? In other news, apparently Gattuso will remain till seasons end and EDF is a consideration. Maybe MLS's marketing genius can come up with an idea to make us a lot of monies so we can afford Conte instead? What do you think big guy? If he can make that 2nd rate league profitable, he should be able to weave his magic with Milan, ya?
Not sure if that is his role with Milan or not. He was the one who came up with Soccer United Marketing which is the is the for-profit marketing arm of MLS and they are a partner of the US Soccer Federation. Basically, they own all the TV rights to US , Mexican national team , Gold and World Cup games. I don't think these things will apply in the Serie A though. I read that he started on December 1st so I doubt he has made much of a dent yet. Maldini speaks English but I don't think Gazidas speaks Italian so he is probably learning the role from Paolo....
I would hope that Milan would be making the most of his sales and marketing know how, though. Someone needs to make us rich and great again.
Someone will surely give us a lot of monies for Ricky Monty. Surely seeing a talent like that rot on the bench is a tragedy? @totti fan
Would like to see Paqueta on the wings/ closer up front. Leonardo is absolutely right. Don't care for Susi or Hakan! And that other Spanish guy " Casti ".. he sucks!
I don't think non profit laws and TV marketing is the same in Italy as the USA. As opposed to American Television, the Italian government is in control of all the sales , TV ads and there are many regulations. I don't think it’s the same in the USA. I left a while back but I can't recall if SKY is government or privately owned like RAI is. Berlusconi’s Mediaset is probably out of the picture since he sold Milan. Also I think the Rai owns all the WC and Euro matches while Canale 7 owns the Coppa Italia. Sky owned the Seire A pay per view games which can be profitable though...
Not sure. I didn't even know that they hired him until yesterday. I don't even think he speaks Italian. It seems like he has a pretty big job though because his title is “amministratore delegato e direttore generale del Milan” which translates into , Milan’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO)....
How is Lucas Paquetá doing in his first season with AC Milan? Although I have a notion he need to learn the system and culture and when to play it safe with good decision making, but hopefully he will get more minutes already next season. I saw a scout video of him last week - he looks so promising and a good time to be a more active fan of AC Milan while they are rebuilding. I`ve been following AC Milan and have a t-shirt of AC Milan when I was a kid - and that`s like 30 years ago so part me is cheering on AC Milan in Italia.
I was told that Paqueta was the new " Kaka " Kaka is my all time fav player so I've been a little disappointed!
I can understand that @Rossonero23 , but Lucas is still young so he is nowhere near his prime years yet. He need to learn the language & culture in Italy and it take a while. And there are talents who develop a bit slower as well compare to the curve, but Kaka was simply amazing when he was active - so I know that feeling, hehe.
The similarities are that both, in their first season, tried to do too much on their own. The culture in Serie A and at Milan will correct that and he will improve.
Yes I`m really positive about Lucas future and looking forward to AC Milan homegame next Monday 20:30 Milan - Bologna an important game, and hopefully they start with a new chapter trying really hard to secure all points! My wish at the moment is that AC Milan bought Martin Ødegaard with a buy back deal instead of Ajax which is the latest trade rumor here in Norway. However I doubt Milan do it unless it`s a permanent transfer policy, and AC Milan dont have history to loan players. Martin Ødegaard has a breakthrough season with Vitesse 7.75 rating on whoscored.com - so exciting time for him and he is only 20 years old. But I don`t know if he fit Serie A with his soccer style though, but some great scout videos of him this season in Vitesse. )) Martin Odegaard vs PSV Eindhoven (07/04/2019) HD https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/255/Show/Netherlands-Vitesse
Not really. We screwed up so bad with our poor form. Atalanta are going to the champions league. I'm sure ppl are dying to go to that dump of a stadium.
Not only we need to win all the matches, we hope that Atalanta drop points. Unfortunately not everything is in our control anymore. Hopefully what Rino did with the team last week will help somehow.
It seems that Milan doesn't want to win against Bologna (watching now on Sky Sports) and they want to avoid the Champions League. Milan, Lazio and maybe Roma want to avoid the Champions League, inconsistent results. Torino and Atalanta want to play in the Champions League. Noticed such activity in other bigger leagues: Sevilla, Valencia, Monchengladbach, Hoffenheim, Werder, Manchester United, Arsenal, Marseille, Braga.
1-0 so far. Suso with nice strike. We are playing aggressively, but afraid we will make a defensive mistake.
Milan always has possession domination, but they react bad in counter attacks of their opponents. Defeats of Lazio at home, against Atalanta, Chievo show their intention to avoid the Champions League. Milan has only 1 victory in the last 6 matches. Juventus - Torino 1-1. It all seems that Torino will play the Champions League, or Atalanta. Bakayoko and Gatusso don't have good relations, have you seen their conversation while he was on the bench. Romagnoli isn't in the first team (injured maybe). Abate is consistent, same as Mussacchio. Laxalt isn't progressing at all. Sansone, Orsolini seem good in Bologna, national team material. Palacio lost his touch which he had in Inter. Destro entered.... The game doesn't exist at all, fouls, yellow card, conflicts Palacio-Borini. 2-0, Borini.
Well, they created this well. Destro accepted nice. If this ends 2-2....my theory would be interesting. Red card - Paqueta, based on what?
